I’m 3 days away, and I’ve still got two Italian nights, one day after the other

This makes me wonder…. Why populate them in the app then if what you are seeing isn’t accurate but what I’ve learned in the past month or so…. The app is not without many, many issues!

Anyone had problems with the menus changing? We’re due to sail on anthem in a few days. A few weeks ago the menus for the MDR were populated and we were all happy with what choices were would have. Then last week a completely different line up appeared with a taste of the UK (not particularly exotic when you live there ) and a great looking taste of Asia menu. Then a few days ago they have changed again with two Italian nights and no sign of the taste of Asia. We are not particularly bothered, I am just one of these sad people who really enjoy looking at menus in advance and thinking about what I could order but any indication any one has of when they would be finalised would be great!!

In the excursions threads there’s a Norway thread with a great bit of info from a “local” about what to expect in Haugesund that day. We’re really excited, glad we’re in a town that day!

We’re hopefully going to get to enjoy a few hours in the solarium when the 2.5 year old goes to the nursery (never be in any sort of daycare yet ) the 12 year old has (please, please, please!!!) made some friends!!! So the plan for needing to message us hinges on a few things Just want to be able to drop a message if plans have changed. This all sounds positive like we can do this without expecting it all to be instant. Just as a back up!

Thank you! This is good to know to keep checking for notifications if we aren’t all together. We made a conscious decision that we want to be internet free for this cruise. I’m sure as we move beyond 12 we may need to re-visit that!

Hello! I’m sure I the answer to my question is no, but thought I would ask the experts! We’re sailing on Anthem and have booked Jamie’s with some OBC. We love the look of the drinks menu and were wondering if during our cruise if we just fancied one of the drinks from Jamie’s (ie Birra Moretti or a San Peligrino Lemon) we would be able to order these drinks to go? We’ve got the unlimited beverage package purchased already! Thanks in advance!

We are going to be travelling with an infinitely sensible 12 year old. Can we ask guest services to allow their app access to the chat function or is it just a no go to overwrite with age? -As an alternative can more than one phone be signed into the same adult’s account on the app? It’s just to allow them a degree of freedom but the comfort of knowing how to find each other fast! Thanks!

I’m sure the 12 year old will be trying to convince us they can still fit in the buggy at some point! We’re 3 weeks out now, after booking so far in advance, I’m finding it hard to contain my excitement

This is wonderful! Thank you @FionaMG do you know if this walking route would be suitable for a buggy? it looks like a lovely trail if the weather was dry! The toilet stop info is much appreciated, this is always a consideration going anywhere with the kids!

@Plasticbrain thank you for all this great information! Was wondering if you had a take or advice for us! We’re going to be in Haugesund on constitution day this year! Is there anything you would recommend as a must do/see/eat on constitution day? I see from videos on youtube there seems to be a fun parade which well hopefully get to go see, but would love to know if there’s anything else we can partake in!

Hi All, I’ve just checked in for our very first cruise and was able to link my husband and my C&A numbers to the booking. We live in the UK so are not auto enrolled and joined C&A via the app prior to checking in. My question is, how do I get my kids their own C&A member number? I’ve scoured the website links for crown and anchor and there is no option I can see to join or link family members. Would I be as well waiting until we’re on the ship and speaking with guest services? We are pre-gold, so nothing riding on it, I just want to make sure they can accrue points for the future. Thanks!

Just looked at a Playmakers and they have the drinks that I’d exactly want, a spicy pineapple marg and a Bloody Mary. Alas, no Playmakers on Anthem Oh well, will need to make sure the next boat we try has a Playmakers! I’ll talk very nicely to all the bar staff and hopefully they’ll be able to accommodate me!

Hello All! I am going to ask a question, which to seasoned cruisers is probably going to sound silly, but I’m currently on count down to my first cruise on Anthem in May this year and have been pouring over the cruise planner in preparation. My question is, is it easy to order cocktails that aren’t in the menus for the bars? For example, I would probably want to order a Bloody Mary at some point but don’t see it on any menu, also a spicy Margarita! We’ve purchased the deluxe drink package already! Thanks in advance!
