  1. We chose traditional dining for our upcoming cruise on Allure and it looks like we will be assigned a time and table for dinner and I don't have to make reservations, right? How does breakfast and lunch work or does the main dining room even serve those meals? This is our second time ever taking a cruise and we didn't use the main dining room last time because we mistakenly chose my time dining and our time was way too late.

  2. I get horribly motion sick in every situation so when I did my first cruise a few months back in November on Allure I got a patch from my doctor. I never got sick once. Most of the trip I never felt the ship move. One night we went through a storm and the waves got bad. On the upper levels I could really feel it but on 6 I felt nothing. If your daughter is old enough I would ask your doctor about the patch. It's a life saver!

  3. Thanks so much. Hopefully my last cruise was full. My parents took a cruise 30+ years ago and my father hated it. Said it was crowded and boring and he will never cruise again. Because of him I never took a cruise until last month. I was amazed that it was nothing like he said. So I convinced him to try again and they will come with us in Feb. But I started worrying that maybe my first cruise was a fluke. Y'all are making feel so much better. It sounds like oasis class ships are just that way. I really want them to enjoy this trip. They don't get out much.

  4. I've seen posts and YouTube videos where people have said how full to capacity their cruise ship was when they sailed. How do you find that out? I cruised for the first time a few weeks ago on Allure and was amazed at how not crowded the ship felt. I wondered if it was the size of the ship or if a lot of rooms were empty. I'm going again in February and it would be neat to know if it's at capacity or not.

  5. We will be on Allure of the Seas for our second Cruise in February. On our first cruise I didn't notice that entertainment had been listed on the website until it was too late to make reservations. Everything was full.  Is there a certain number of days before the cruise that they list the entertainment for reservations? We are going in a large group this trip so I don't want to chance just waiting in line and hoping for seats.  If I know what day it's posting I can keep an eye out and be sure I get some reservations this time. Thanks!
