  1. Hi, can someone please explain to me the room service

Is it a charge per order or per item, and is tips included in the price or not?

What can I order on room service? Does anyone have a menu?

What about the continental breakfast..I know it's complimentary but assuming add a tip at the end aswell....

Is room service 24/7? If not what time do they operate

    Thanks!

  2. Thanks Matt- and BTW- LOVE YOUR VIDEOS I have never been on a cruise and I watch your videos non-stop.

I am not getting it. RC have been FANTASTIC with me as my son has ASD they have already told me I will embark at 10am! and get priority on ports and ship on boarding, as well as help and early access to MDR and help at the shows if we pre-book... honestly I can't fault them!!

  3. Hi All,

what are the rules to bring on souvenirs from port onto the ship. Am I right in thinking I am not allowed to bring wine on- of course. But what about other liquids. I am travelling to Italy and would love a bottle of 2 quality olive oil. Or other pasta and foods- that will be dry not fresh. Am I allowed to bring these on?

    1. As a father with experience similar to yours, good for you in asking questions!  Also, good questions!

    2. There should be plenty, plenty, plenty of options that are available to you and your children.  You can eat whatever, pretty much whenever, and how much ever you and your children wish.  The kitchen/wait staff will likely try to accommodate to the best of their abilities.  For example, you want spaghetti but you are at Chops Grille, they should be able to accommodate.

    3. My suggestion is to dine early and as often as possible.  I am not suggesting that you eat till you are bloated.  For example, if you eat at the MDR at 5pm, you will avoid crowds, and if the food wasn't satisfying enough, you can go to the Windjammer, Sorrentos, or even order room service.  Try, try and try, because the staff will also try, try, and try.  We LOVE RCCL and will never go back to the other cruise lines we have sailed.

Thank you so much! This is perfect. I think I made a good decision with RC

  5. Hi all,  I'm going on voyager of the seas.

I have a child with ASD aged 6, and a 3 year old. What happens if we eat at the Main dining room but my children didn't eat properly or at all. Am I allowed to go to get something from the buffet for them after? Or can they bring food for kids, it will most likely be something like French fried.

Also,  what dining/ snacking options are open in the late evenings again if kids decide they want to eat later. And again am I allowed to do this?

What food outlets within the included dining is open later x

  6. I'm going Aug 24....woo hoo to the Greek Isles on Voyager of the Seas.

I have never been on a cruise before and it seems there is a lot I didn't know.

I know about drinks package and dining times but that is it.

SPAM me with all your tips advice must do and don't on cruises. Bonus if you've done the route I'm doing before....

    I'm going with 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 6...

When do I book things, do I need to book things? How do you get on and off the ship when we are at port, can we get on and off anytime?

Kids club... I'm confused as I. Heard you have to register???? Where and how???

What happens on the first day and the last??

Sorry, I have so many questions.... thanks in advance xx
