When there are 40 ships a day departing to and from your destination, you can compare this situation to airlines. Till then it's nothing like airlines. The amount of things to change, refund, rebook, etc. It's just too much for some. Flights, hotels, car rentals, pet accommodations, tickets to pre and post cruise events, WORK. No, this kind of "mistake" just doesn't fly for some.

I read about this days ago and have been wondering why no chat here? I don't drink so doesn't effect me, but everyone talks so much about what liquids they bring.

Help me stay in Miami for cheap

For me if it's just a place the night before a cruise it's about clean, clean, and oh yeah clean. I don't need frills on a one night stay, but I don't need to bring bed bugs on my cruise either. Much rather spend a few more and start my trip off safe. -
When can I pre book on board entertainment?

Still. Pick a time frame 60 days, 45, 30 and stick to it. This kind of inconsistent thing is getting so old. -

I hate they can't even stick to a 30 schedule with this. -
I couldn't let the mustard attitude slide. I wouldn't have stopped until I spoke to someone in authority. Not about the mustard, but the way it was handled. The cut backs, lack of quality, and poor customer service requires push back or nothing good will come of all this. I see I'm gonna save a fortune in tips in May.

See that stinks. If I was gone 30 minutes out of entire day to grab a burger at lunch, I would feel bad. But 4, 5, 6 hours really stinks. Also, where were the crew that's supposed to monitor and remove stuff.
-
Just read a trip review on CC. The one plate at a time thing slowed down the meals for the poster (and others I assume). So much for making cut backs in the name of speed. Poster who has traveled often with Royal decided to pass up next cruise and have a think about what next vacation will be. Stupid policy.

Has anyone had any luck at 8am saying to crew "hey all those chairs are empty, can you remove some stuff for me"?
-
Is it the chair first then breakfast thing? I can't decide which I will/should do first. Don't want to be a hog, but you also kinda gotta play the game that's going on.
-
And I will add lunch becomes an issue. If they served burgers poolside, I wouldn't be away for more then 5 min tops. Also, please remember us over 50 do go to the restrooms often. That doesn't mean we have abandoned our spot. LOL.
-
Not in my book your not. That's me. A quick breakfast and I'm at my seat/pool till 4pm. Some of us really do spend the day at the pool. OK, I'll add I've been debating chair first or breakfast first, to not break the 30 or 45 min rule. Not sure how that will go.

Always be careful though. If you touch my things thinking they have been there for hours, but in reality I just stepped away to use the bathroom....I will do time for you. LOL. No really.

Entertaining Canada legal questions?
NotPayinExtra replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
For the edification of those reading. This no entry with a DWI also includes Mexico. They don't seem to be as strict with cruise passengers as those driving over the border. It varies widely whether or not you will be refused admission. The law I believe is offence within the past 10 years with Mexico. They are not as together as Canada. Canada doesn't play games on this. Thats why many bands don't perform in Canada. Issues for band members, crew, etc. It's also a law in 6 other countries, that will stop your getting past and admitted. -
Just read a review of Wonder on CC. Person said they went to JR for lunch on embarkation day and they didn't get charge. Is this maybe a way to balance the load around the ship in those first few crazy hours. I wouldn't pay, don't think they are more then OK. But if free maybe. Note: they also said best meal they had all week. And that's sad and definitely has me concerned for May. Anyone know if JR embarkation lunch is free now?

He has a problem. Canada doesn't allow Americans (or anyone) with DWI into the country. There is an appeals process that comes at a substantial cost.
