We are planning a 2025 family Alaska Cruise. We've cruised on Freedom, Quantum, Oasis and soon Icon class ships in the Caribbean. By far, larger ships are our favorite. So I know we would enjoy the Anthem or Ovation over the Radiance. The North Star in Alaska must be breathtaking … However, doing a cruise + land tour combo looks really appealing. What are your experiences to keep the kids entertained on the Radiance? Kiddo be 12 next year, so the dreaded age of over the Adventure Ocean age, but to young to be roaming on her own (at least according to this mama). I would also love Shore Excursion recommendation. Dog Sledding is on our bucket list. Happy cruising everyone

Thanks everyone I think we will book the Empire Supper Club on its own when it comes available and keep our 3 night package to Chops, Hooked and Habachi (can't get my family to pick Giovanni ) Happy Cruising

The Empire Supper Club looks AMAZING. We sail on the Icon in July 2024 and have purchased the 3 night dining plan. The Empire Supper Club is not yet listed on our cruise planner. Hoping those sailing earlier then us can see more. Is that restaurant an add on option to the dining plan? or has to be booked separately?

We did the Pearl Island swimming with the pigs in Nassau. July 16 2023. Had a great time. The crew and staff were super friendly and attentive. They took time to answer questions about how the pigs are raised and how they live on the island. My dd got to bottle feed one of the little ones. They took pictures of you with your phone. Enjoyed the included paddle boarding at the beach and lunch was very nice. No hard sale on anything - the only thing I bought were a couple of bar drinks, and tipped the crew. Nassau is so beautiful if you just get out of the port area. The new build out looks very nice - but the rest is of island is so much better... excursions are a must!

Thanks Mike - we have a pretty short day. Ship leaves at 3 pm - so I am assuming all aboard will be 2 pm. That has me a little concerned about doing a non RCCL tour. I looked on Viator and the excursions were pretty long. But I will check Trip Advisor. Plus Wow - 5 Cruises on the Wonder! Enjoy - that sounds amazing.

We are sailing on the Icon July 2024. St Thomas offers 2 Snorkeling with Turtle tours. One to Magen's bay: Amazing Magens Bay Snorkeling with Sea Turtles One to an unnamed beach: Beach Escape and Snorkeling with Sea Turtles I know that Magen's bay is the most famous beach - but we would like to pick the excursion with the best chance to see Turtles. Thank you!

Happy to report that on the Odyssey in March 2023 - I was able to just walk up and order take out. Took it back to the balcony and had sushi watching the ocean. It was lovely. I had the Champagne Lobster Roll - it was excellent.
