  1. Congrats!! My husband and I will be on the same sailing as you guys tomorrow We were first time cruisers on Allure of the Seas in October 2021 for our honeymoon! I don’t have any recommendations for any port excursions (it’ll be our first time at St Marten and St Thomas) but my biggest advice if you do plan on booking through a 3rd party is making sure you’re back near the ship an hour before you need to board. You never know what could happen. Also, there’s A LOT to see on the ship so I recommend spending tomorrow exploring! There is an adults only pool and hot tub area in the Solarium (I believe it’s Deck 15). If you didn’t get to book any of the entertainment before the cruise planner closed, you may be able to do so on board at guest services or by hanging out at the standby lines before each show. If you told RC that you are on your honeymoon, they may invite you to a honeymooners only event where you can free bubbly and dessert. They also gave away prizes too which I thought was fun. Hopefully they do this still!
  2. Logged into the cruise planner this morning and saw you can now book your entertainment for the trip! Looks like my husband and I will be catching the later show (10:45) for most things since our MTD reservations are at at 7 everyday.
  3. 45 days to go and check in opens today! My husband and I stayed up until midnight to snag an early boarding time and it paid off! We managed to get a 10:30-11 boarding window. Now I can finally make our Mason Jar brunch reservations for that morning
  4. When we sailed with Allure in October 2021, my husband and I stayed at SpringHill Suites by Mariott. It was newly renovated, had free breakfast and the staff was incredibly friendly/accomodating. We were on our sailing for our Honeymoon and the hotel staff gifted us champagne and chocolate to celebrate! They also allowed us to check out late since our check in time at the terminal was a little bit later. Another huge perk was that it was close to the cruise terminal. They offer a shuttle service if you decide you want to park and stay at the hotel (they should have a package deal) vs parking at the port. We are sailing with Wonder of the Seas in June and decided to book at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson this time around as it was about $100 cheaper than SpringHill. It's still close to the terminal, offers a stay and park package, shuttle service and free breakfast (and free cookies!).
