When you get to St Thomas try to get to St. John's and go to Trunk Bay. Beach is nice and you can snorkel. It is National park with plaques telling you about what you are seeing. We are going back next month and have not been there in over 10 years, but one of my favorite spots

I like the Eastern better. The islands are much prettier. It's been a while since I have done western, but I've had a few friends that have gone on that side and I would give it another shot. Just don't think you can beat the Virgin Islands. I've never been disappointed by any of the ports. Some disappointments with some Western as far as a few excursions I took weren't as good as anticipated.

Well if it goes from the port you leave and the port you return (closed loop route) all she needs is her ID and original raised seal birth certificate. Maybe say you want to hold on to it for safe keeping or make a copy to make a memory book for the family. She would have to bring that if she needed to get a passport, so no way around getting her a passport without that either way. Only way she would need a passport for a cruise if it was transatlantic or don't end up back at your original port.

Maybe download a white noise that you don't mind, like sounds of waves and if there is noise from them moving the deck chairs maybe you can play that and downed out the noise.

I live in FL so if I am leaving from one of those ports then the day of and drive. Max drive to any port is 4 hours or less. We are flying into Seattle a day and half early for Alaska in July

Hey, if it is going to save you money and get you on the ship then jump on it. Just went on the Allure and it was just fine. It didn't have some of the amped stuff, but I think right after I got off they changed Wipeout to El Loco Fresh. They just built that new terminal and like the buzz they are getting from people seeing it. So when Allure leaves if they bring in a newer ship people would be more inclined to travel to that home port.

It depends what port they pull into because Royal has 2 they dock at. Crown Bay and West Indian Dock. Best thing is to check google maps of what is in the area. From the google image it looks more like the West Indian is where they dock from what I can tell. It won't say in your itinerary I don't believe. You can try to google the name of the ship you are going on and see if that tells you where they have been docking recently. Only thing you can not order multiples of now is the lobster tail without an extra charge, but what you can do is someone that doesn't eat seafood have them order you a tail

Last year on Allure of the Seas I saw Jimmy Hopper. He was a very good signer and put on a good show of a variety of songs.

Same, saw him on the Symphony and he is really good. He knows a ton of songs and takes request.
