Well that’s a bummer that there is a new guy. Might check him out, but I’m more of a guitar over piano guy. I can’t wait to get on the ship!!! -

I will enjoy reading along and hope to see you on next Monday or sometime during the week! -
Royal Caribbean is like some of these other big companies and they know what they are doing. They know people will pay for what they offer, till numbers go down then they will keep the prices where they are at and can change prices during peak times. If that flier is right the $170 isn’t bad because if you look at some of the ports that have resort for a day you are paying around that for drinks, food, pool and beach access. Royal just said we need to do something in Nassau because I think they saw their exclusions and people going off to resorts were down so they jumped on that land. That island will be packed every sailing and hope to go there one day. IMO I think the Perfect Day in Mexico looks better and more appealing to my liking.

Well usually on the cruise since I am up a hour or 2 before anyone I cruise with I eat a small breakfast so I can take my meds and then when everyone is up we try to meet up for breakfast, so I eat again, LOL. Usual makes me skip lunch sometimes on the ship, which is fine and will swing a grab a late slice if needed after some drinking.

I do like this topic and like to hear peoples opinions on their cruise experiences. One thing I noticed is some of the food is a little less quality than it was before the Covid years. If you want a really good meal on the ship where you say, wow you will have to go and pay for the specialty dining. You also have to think about those venues compared to the main dining or the WJ. In the specialty dining they are cooking for way less people and using higher quality ingredients. But I have had some really good meals in the main dining. The best thing about cruising is you can try something and if you don’t like it then you don’t have to finish it. I know people might see that as a waste, but it’s part of the experience. Last, is I watch a lot of YouTube on cruising, and they had a great series on the Smithsonian channel called Mighty Ships that show you behind the scene of what the crews do day in and day out. To watch what they have to do in the galley’s is simply crazy when preparing meals and they coordination and timing they have to deal with on a daily basis. Best part is for how many days you are on the ship, you don’t have to worry about cooking and what to eat next because there is plenty to go around.

Utopia Episode IV: A New Ship - B2B - June 2-9, 2025

So some review videos I have watched on the Utopia some people walking around show the destination elevators and it seems on the Utopia when you pick your deck it doesn’t ask how many people are in your group like I’ve seen on the Icon. Wonder why they don’t have it set up like that? Looking at some newer videos of the Icon looks like they took that off their too. -
