  1. Best thing about the Key which we did on our transatlantic last year was the lunch with the Chops Grill menu and the breakfast on disembarkation day. We bought it on sale at a cost of $4 more a day than just the cost of internet. With it we were able to board immediately when we arrived at the port which was only allow suite guests, pinnacle and key guests to board outside of the assigned boarding time.

We also purchased it for our upconing cruise on Radiance in April even though the price, even sale price has gone up.

Yeah, I'm assuming my issue was because my vaccine card has WAG for the provider and whoever approves it didn't know that it meant Walgreens.

My husband got  his vaccine card flagged on our third leg of b2b2b so another call. This one only took half as long and I got our check in booklet today. Yeah

  3. I had an issue checking in our second of B2B2B cruises with my vaccine card not being accepted. Though it was for the first segment. When I called the issue tured out to be that my CDC vaccination card had a hypen in my last name while Royal which doesn't allow hypens had a space there. 4 hours on hold because someone couldn't figure out that it was the same name. I was assured that there wouldn't have been an issue at the port but that's exactly why I wanted everything validated before getting to the port.

That is the primary purpose, not the sole purpose.  How many other official or non-official activities have you been involved in that was not travel related but would accept a U.S. Passport as identification?

When I was an election judge passport was valid ID for voting. Accepted for proof of age  for drinking and starting school.

  5. For US and Canada fully vaccinated does not require a booster, just whatever the vaccine manufacturer requires (1 or 2) but depending on your ports of call and when you had your least shot you may need a booster since we are going to France a booster was required because it will be more than 270 days since our vaccine was completed. If we didn't get it we would not have been able to leave the ship at the French ports.

  6. Whether a booster is required or not really depends on where you are going and if you want to go ashore for our upcoming transatlantic we had to get booster (J&J last year) because France requires your least show be within 270 days. We received our J&J booster two weeks ago. A few countries require a second J&J shot if it has been more than 120 days since you're first one so check places where your ship will stop.

Anyone sailing to Europe has to complete an entry document (check the country's web site for more details) - Italy you can register ahead if you know your entry point and where you are staying but Spain can only be completed 48 hours prior to arrival, which is going to make for an interesting time on ship.  It *seems* that even if you are going directly to the airport from the terminal you have to complete the registry, but that is not 100% clear. Like other posters said, things might change in just a couple of weeks.

Several countries have dropped their passenger locator forms for entry now or will be doing so April 1.

I'm not sure on this testing time period. If we are on Wonder of the Seas that leaves out of Rome 6/2/22 (Thurs). Can we test on 5/31/22 (Tues. night), we fly out of Las Vegas 6/1/22 at 8am, to arrive in Rome at 9am and leave on ship 6/2/22. Does this meet the RC requirements? We do have a port stop in Barcelona on like day 4 or 5. So, we won't be able to get off ship with the test we did on 5/31? We will have to test on the cruise 1 day before getting off ship in Barcelona? So confused... Any information is helpful!!

Currently there is no testing requirement in Spain for people vaccinated within the last 270 days before arrival. If your vaccination is older than that you will need a booster.  Between now and sailing all things are subject to change when it comes to covid rules.

I totally understand you. I have the same concerns. Are you sure Spain is on the itinerary? I'm taking the same cruise and as far as I know the ports of call are Azores, Le Havre, Cherbourg and Southampton.

Correct,  the Azores are Portugal not Spain.
