  2. Schedule is out http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Deployment/2015_2016/14037156_Deployment_Opening_Flyer_FINAL3.pdf
  3. I would love to take that trans atlantic. Splendour has been removed from the port of New Orleans schedule
  4. Price reduction. the less I spend the more I can cruise. ;)
  5. I only have the new ones, I purchase 2 of them on every cruise. Im down to 1 now since I used 1 for the RoyalCaribbeanBlog.com Cruise aboard Quantum of the Seas :D
  6. I was just wondering what do you purchase or hold onto from your past cruises? I always keep my seapass cards and purchase a ship model and a few photos.
  7. My embarkation was quick, I arrived at the port around 10:45 am was onboard by 11:10 am. I have heard during rush hour it can be a little crazy you have to go through Terminal 1 (Carnival) to get to Terminal 2 (RCI) The cruise itself well it fell below my expectations but I loved Belize (my first time there) and Cozumel (2nd time there) When I woke up on Disembarkation day i went to the Promenade and got a cup of coffee and went oust side I could not see the ocean :o FOG we where anchored outside the port till 11am arrived back at the dock around 12am got off the ship at 3:30. It was poorly managed by the port and the Ship personal. 3114 cruisers leaving the ship at the sometime was no picnic! I missed my noon flight out of Hobby back to Ontario Ca, Southwest rescheduled my flight for me at no extra cost :) I arrived back in Burbank Ca, around midnight. It was a long day and I told myself never again. But if they are making major improvements and investing all the money well hey I love cruising onboard Royal's ships :)
  8. Yes I have twice now. Anxiously waiting to go again!
  9. My first cruise was with Rci and the only other line I tried so far has been Celebrity ( I highly recommend also). I would say 3 of my cruises I really put at the top of my list Panama, Hawaii and Alaska, and the first one I took was memorable for several reasons. First we ended up doing a Pacific Coastal instead of the Mexican Rivera. Half the ship was upset because the Captain would not cruise through 2 hurricanes to get them to Mexico. A mob formed at guest relations angry banging the fist on the counter top demanding full compensation. I had explored the ship already and had lunch in the wind jammer and loved I went up to guest relations in the middle of the mob seen and asked if they had any upgrades. they did not have any but the nice lady took my name and stateroom number if any came available the next day when I returned to my room from lunch a note and a bottle of wine. :D I enjoyed my first cruise on Vision of the seas but my second one on the brand new Mariner of the seas hooked me for life!
  10. Liberty or Indy, I wonder where Freedom will go when Oasis 3 is delivered? I did a cruise out of Galveston 2012 on the Mariner it was hard for us west coasties to see her go. From Houston Hobby its about a 30 - 40 minute drive not that bad, The port itself well let just say its the worse one I have cruised from, but if they are making major improvments i will give a second chance to step onboard RCI ship. Florida ports are the best my favorite would be Port Canaveral.

  12. Specially after Royal announced they where terminating the sailing.
  13. My guess would be all 3 will be in Florida 2 in Fort Lauderdale and 1 in Port Canaveral. No clue.
  14. There is no winner in this sitiuation at all, In my opinion they are doing a fine job. I feel bad for the guest and Royal Caribbean. Until they can come up with a vaccination it will be something they will continusly have to deal with bad press and all. I know they have no control over Noro. Blame the bug not the cruise line.
  15. Looks like a major redeployment of ships is coming in 2015, any thoughts or predictions? so far Jewel to do Alaska summer 2015 and a few cruises to the west coast Monterey California http://www.portsamerica.com/cruise/los-angeles-terminal.html http://www.monterey.org/en-us/departments/harbormarina/cruiseshipandtallshipvisits.aspx It appears Navigator will visit St. Maarten every other week starting in the spring of 2015. http://201.220.14.27/sxmonline/VesselScheduleCruise.aspx It appears Serenade will leave New Orleans her replacement will be Splendour http://portno.com/vessel-schedules

  21. Congrats on booking the cruise!! Let see I cruised out of Galveston in 1/2/12. I flew to Houston 2 days before the cruise, I rented a car from Enterprise I stayed in Clearlake Texas just south of Houston and took the family to the Houston space center. Drove down to Galveston and turned the car in by the pier (not far). Just be prepared for the FOG!! IM GLAD I PURCHASED CRUISE INSURANCE FOR THAT TRIP!!
