Perfect! We settled in the middle and got the kids some nice shorts and short sleeve button down shirts for regular nights and I'm making them drag their homecoming outfits for formal night. Might as well wear it more than once! I won't tell them they could have gotten away with less until afterwards!

Thanks for the great info! How do we know if our cruise has theme nights? Obviously, we need to know before packing but I haven't a clue where to find that info!

Hi all! RC newbie here and we've done a cruise in the past on Carnival and people wore basketball shorts and t-shirts to dinners. I'm traveling with teen boys and wondering what RC has people wear for their main dining room dinners? Also, how about formal nights? Are ties a must for all men/boys? I don't want to spend a ton pre-cruise for specialty clothing but also want to be prepared when packing! Thanks all!

What was capacity like? Full? Half full?

Can anyone link an at-home test that RC will accept for boarding ship? I wasn't sure if there was one I could buy and we can take since we'll be traveling the days prior to cruise. Thanks!

Cruising 12/20 on Independence and wondering if our 11 yr old will be allowed into shows? Does anyone know if they are being kept out of shows, etc?

Hi all! New RC traveler here and we've only done one cruise in the past with Carnival. All the food there was unlimited but I'm noticing that there's lots of "add on" for food with RC. Can you guys fill me in on details of meal plans? Can you order multiple entrees/apps in the Main Dining Room? Are there free food places you can walk into at any time of the day? If Windjammers isn't open b/c of reduced capacity - are there other (free) options? Thanks!
