  1. Hiya! We are on the Harmony 4/21/24 sailing. I've read that entertainment bookings (aqua show, ice show, etc.) might be available the first day of the month before the cruise, so 3/1 for an April sailing. Has this been the case for recent voyages? Does anyone have a ballpark date? Thanks!
  2. FYI - Internet for our cruises was around $20.99 for one, but I booked 4 devices (kids!) and it came down to about $300 total for the week. That means $10.50 per day per device. To keep them entertained. And ~quiet~!
  3. Hmm... there were a lot of kids on the August Wonder cruise we were on. My understanding was that they just grouped them together in the big room. On Anthem last year they had smaller, separate rooms. My guys didn't love that.
  4. Hi! We were on Wonder of the Seas this summer and Adventure Ocean let kids 6-12(11?) run around together. Is it the same on Harmony or do they split them up 6-8 and 9-11 (or so)? I have two boys, one will be 1 month shy of 9 and one is 12. I know that they loved playing dodgeball and Mario Kart together. If they are split up, can I sign a waiver to get them in the same group? Thanks, hive mind!
  5. FWIW, I booked a cruise through Costco and didn't receive an opportunity to Royal Up. I think that's the norm. Perhaps that's why?
  6. I'm new to this... trying to figure it out. They just sent me an email stating that I'm Prime. If I'm getting mailers offering OV rooms on smaller ships and I want to book a balcony room on an Oasis ship, will they typically offer any discount? What if the sailing is 6 months away?
  7. Thanks guys! So, just to be clear: 1. Set Sail 2. Passport 3. Vax card (because why not) And that's it?
  8. Hi! When I sailed in June passengers needed their Set Sail pass, passport, vaccine card and negative covid test result. What do we need now? Is it just the Set Sail pass and the passport? Is there any value to bringing our vax cards? Thanks!
  9. HI, yes, I did buy the packages at the same time. I didn't realize that you could cancel on board, too. I guess that means going to the dreaded guest services desk with the monster line? I'll give Royal a call first to see if it can be done over the phone. Thank you!
  10. Hi! I booked the deluxe drink package for my husband and I at the same time for a pretty decent price. I think we are going to cancel his, though, and keep mine. It looks like if I cancel the order, it will refund the both of us. I don't see an option to pick specific passengers. Is there anything I can do to keep the good price I got for myself? FWIW, we are assigned to different staterooms because our three albatrosses- sorry! kids! are coming with us, too. Lol, just a joke! I hear albatrosses don't even like cruising...
  11. Bummer! Well, I am looking forward to enjoying the ship. Thanks!!
  12. We are cruising on the Freedom this Friday and it looks like there's quite a storm coming by for the weekend. I don't think this is a passing shower, but instead two full days of rain. Would they substitute in Labadee or any other different ports if the weather were to be better there? Any experience as to what happens to the ports if it rains all day (potentially both days)? Thanks!
  13. I just bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017RQIRWW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 Hope it works well!
  14. I received a six pack of tests last week with an expiration of October 2022, fwiw.
  15. There are a bunch of great places in South Beach for dinner. I really liked Los Fuegos in the Faena, Watr on the rooftop of the 1 Hotel and Serena rooftop at the Moxy when I went with a friend in June. The band on Saturday at Habitat, which is also at the 1 Hotel is banging! If you see them, tell the bongo player that Debra says hi. On Christmas Day we are headed to the Edge Steak and Bar. We're looking forward to it!
  16. We are going on the Oasis on 12/26 and have neighborhood pharmacy appointments for the 24th (we're in Brooklyn). I booked these months ago, this place is great for that. https://oakparkpharmacy.wixsite.com/onthecircle I'm not sure if you'd want to travel over here. We took tests at this pharmacy for Thanksgiving, as well. However, only 3 of our 5 results were returned. So, to make sure that we're covered, I bought a six pack of the eMed tests, too, because if we need them, it will be on Christmas Day. I know that won't help with your child, but it's just a thought for the two of you. Good luck! You'll be fine and enjoying yourself before you know it! EDIT: You can also get a rapid test at this pharmacy, which costs $50, but I understand that you can get reimbursed for it. We might do both. Belt and suspenders and all...
  17. I figured as much but I'm relieved to know for sure. Thanks @SpeedNoodles!
  18. These tests that *are not* sold through Royal Caribbean are the same as the ones that *are* sold through RC, right? https://www.emed.com/products/covid-at-home-testkit-six-pack?hsLang=en We are a family of five. I'm thinking that these six tests, to be potentially done on Christmas, in combination with a pharmacy visit on the 24th, should get us on the Oasis on the 26th. Right? Now, I've just got to convince my 6 year old to stop licking doorknobs. Kidding (I hope)
  19. Thanks! That stinks... why bother to offer it and then retract? Ah well
  20. I saw that I had a refund on my credit card for $99.99 five times and put it together that our All Access tour was cancelled since it's no longer on our calendar for our Oasis, Dec 26th cruise. I didn't get an email about it (that's been the name of the game for me). I'm wondering if anyone else also had their tour cancelled, and if RC gave a reason...?
  21. I didn't realize that about Izumi - thank you!
  22. We are sailing on the Oasis for New Year's Eve and considering Chef's Table for NYE dinner. It looks like dinner at any specialty restaurant is going to be about $100/person, and since we have the UDP and will presumably have tried the other restaurants already, it seems like a good choice. I don't think we're interested in the MDR. The cruise planner states that CT Dinner on 12/31 starts at 8pm. We're imagining it will be done well before midnight. Any thoughts?
