I'm starting to pick up items for our cruise in April.  Was wondering if in Nassau Bahamas it is required to use reef safe sunscreen?  Or can I purchase regular sunscreen?

For the site I recommended only put in month and port of call.  Then check for same dates as yours at cococay.

Hi All - I know I saw this one time but can't find it.  What do you recommend I should have in cash for daily expenses.  I know most everything goes to seapass card but for tipping or other cash spending.

I saw cats in a theater showing and wanted to walk out on that one.  Would probably skip it entirely if it was playing on my sailing. Maybe Royal monitors sites like this and will take the hint.

I was looking at cruise compass listing for Anthem.  The closest I saw for 7 nights was over holidays time in Dec.  Will the shows and entertainment for an April cruise be approximately the same?

I am travelling with family members and we have our reservations linked in cruise planner.  When we first booked online we all chose MTD.  Now I know that unvax kids are not allowed to do MTD from reading blog.  The 4 year old is in another cabin from mine - will this affect my MTD?  Are we going to need to eat together in the MDR or can we go alone?

When they weigh you before getting on Northstar is it just a scale that shows the weight to everyone standing there?  Just want to know to mentally prepare - I'm within weight limit but may be embarrassed for the entire family to see.

Thank you.  We're new to cruising and don't know all the ins and outs.  We have kids who want to enjoy these activities sailing with us. Hope we can get times.  Sailing in April school vaca and know the ship will be pretty full.

New to traveling outside of USA.  I know travel insurance helps with costs of cancellations of plans.  But on the medical side of things doesn't your own medical insurance cover you for healthcare?  I've read some stories of people getting hit with huge bills after becoming ill (heart attack etc) on cruise ships and not having travel insurance.  Just trying to understand how this works.

My sailing if for Apr 17.  I spoke with 2 different representatives on the phone yesterday and asked for my final payment date (just wanted to be sure information was consistent) and the date given to me was March 18.  So that changed from January 17.  No notification was sent to me, I just was calling with another question and decided to ask.  Wish they were better at contacting people with information.  Question:  do they notify you when your final payment is due or are you just expected to know it and pay up?

Thank you for this response.  The wording of no one would be allowed off the ship if unvax unless on a royal excursion threw me.  Thought that would be over the top, but who knows these days.

Thank you.  We're traveling Anthem in Apr. with 3 kids.  Ages 4, 7, 14 - so this information was very helpful.

I know that if you're traveling with unvaccinated children that you need to use RC excursions in the Bahamas.  But does this apply to stops in the USA.  We are traveling out of NJ and stopping in Orlando Florida.  Can we get off the ship on our own since no excursions for this stop are offered?

Thank you for this information.  A family sailing with us still has yet to apply for passports (sailing in April).  I'm a little afraid it won't be back in time since she doesn't want to pay for expedited application.  Will hope it all comes together in time.
