  1. Hopped on my computer to make sure desktop mode on my phone wasn't stiffing me but I still don't have that header. mine ends at Gift & Gear and still no luck forcing it.
  2. In the screenshot posted above it reads like 1 package covers 2 people. So ..88.99 would be for 2... Right?
  3. Here's hoping they do the same thing and let those who manage to snag it keep it at the same cost. I'm certainly trying to find a way to be one of those people.
  4. Pretty much same. I hate bruts cuz they're so dry but I hear they're great for mimosas so really about a great way to start off the cruise! Then to get that tour AND priority on & off... IT'S SO MUCH GOOD!
  5. it's not showing up for my August Harmony sailing when I look at VIP packages it only shows the key and when I try the URL hack I get a "new stuff coming soon" page. I want it so bad! We paid 250 for internet! This would be a steal!
  6. Playing a bit of Devil's advocate but is it really worth it to pay about $30 less for 80 less photos? I do agree the physical ones are a bit of a pain (I think all of ours are the dreaded photo box and we only scanned in ones we wanted to post on social media) but you can always make them digital with a traditional scanner or even a smartphone scan app. Obviously, I support you doing what is best for you (and on a smaller ship there may be less opportunities for photos outside of the dinner time booths, but just wanted to stir the pot a little.
  7. Liquid IV is a water additive that you drink that supposedly magically gets you more hydration. The hows and whos and whys of it escape me but I've heard of several people using them to boost their hydration when they may not be able to physically drink 64+ oz. Jordan Bauth (the Royal Ice Skater) and Sherri on Cruise Tips TV both use them.
  8. Howdy! I was just asking the forums the same thing and folks offered really good suggestions. Here's the thread:
  9. While I haven't been on Grandeur, the age and size of the ship would lead me to believe this is correct. For thickness reference, a stack of 100 8x10s is about 3 inches high. (We got all physical on our first Freedom cruise in 2015 - back then the digital option meant getting them burned onto a CD or a flash drive or something and was an additional cost)
  10. Just tested mine and cleared out some old favorites. Removed without any issue.
  11. Oh wow....if they're in Grand Suites then it's definitely not a space issue...fascinating. Just watched a video of a GS and JS on Wonder and the half glass door follows through on that too. *sigh* well....I've showered in a half door set up before. My dislike, more than the threat of water splashing out, is cold air getting in. Nothing worse than a cool breeze while you're sopping wet
  12. did your glass move or no? The one in the picture is a half glass door so it actually opens out (according to the room tours I've obsessively watched on youtube). I think that's the difference. When they made Harmony and Symphony they heard the shower curtain complaints but offered a worse solution with the half glass door. Allure and Oasis still had the fixed glass and curtain:
  13. That makes sense. It was intended to lessen the crowds in the buffet so it would make sense to drop it once the restrictions lifted.
  14. Didn't I hear/read somewhere that as a post-covid thing all room service breakfast was complimentary? Did this stop? If so...when?
  15. ...but whyyyyyy! The risk of splashing water outside the tub when I'm practicing my waterbending feels too high!
  16. So...does anyone know why Royal opted for a half open shower in the Jr Suites on Harmony? I understand why the glass door isn't full (there's just not reasonable space) but why not have a shower curtain at the back like Grand Suites use? Just curious if this was another Harmony oopsie like the lack of pool in the Solarium
  17. Ooh I'm definitely interested in this blog. That really is a room type I've never seen before and ports we rarely get to hear about. Definitely spill all the tea!
  18. Detroit feels close enough to Chicago for me to offer the hopefully accurate news that the snow should be Friday morning/midday rather than evening so hopefully you're good.
  19. Expanding on what Matt said... Formal Nights on every cruise: Yes, there is at least one formal night on every cruise. 3-5 night cruises have 1; 6-10 nights have 2; and 11+ have up to 4. You can see what nights in particular are usually designated formal night and get some light tips on what to wear here:https://www.royalcaribbean.com/gbr/en/faq/questions/formal-dress-code-guideline?country=GBR If you don't wanna do formal: As Matt said you can skip the Main Dining Room on formal nights and hit the buffet but there are also "smart casual" specialty restaurants (restaurants with an additional charge) like Izumi Sushi, Chops Grille, or Giovanni's Italian. Depending on the ship, you may also have more casual places like Solarium Bistro (free), El Loco Fresh (free), Playmakers (a la cart pricing), or Sabor (specialty dining). Trust us, there are many options if you don't feel like pulling out the sparkly wear.
  20. I'm with @billdauterive. I have only had the experience to use the bionic bar once but I really liked it. Aside from the fact that I'm introverted and very much do NOT want to have a conversation with my bartender, I also don't know cocktails well. In fact the only cocktail I know I like and remember the name of is $3x on the beach and as much as I'm not a prude I HATE the name of that! So when I go up to the bar wanting to try a drink, I either hope something on the menu sounds good, scroll cocktail recipes on my phone and hope I'm not going to ask for something they don't have the booze to make OR try to confidentially order the one I know. The bionic bar's extensive menu means my googling is right there in the Ipad, and they even show HOW much of each thing is in it so I don't get tricked by something that mentions 5 juices but is 80% vodka or something. It is also really fun to watch and I'm cheering them every time I see them in action.
  21. Exactly...and who needs that? The only palatable dasani is flavored dasani and that's because the fruit flavors bury those salty ones.
  22. If anyone is going to be sailing with these new changes soon, can you report back what water you get? Ideally we're not going to be stuck with the Trash Water aka Dasani...
  23. I'd say even a month is generous. Apparently changing these things over is something done manually over in Royal IT and with your date being so far out, it's probably a little lower on the priority list vs ones that are sailing this year.
