Common sense says it should but who knows. I wear a neck gator, easy on and off, more comfortable to me but I could not get into Disney World with it even though by the CDC a neck gator is fine. Disney won't allow neck gators. The face shield is supposed to be more protective so it should be allowed.

I think people and this includes me kinda miss the point with these vaccines. Its not just about preventing Covid-19 altogether, its about not getting severe sickness, hospitalization and death most importantly. If it can turn it basically into a common cold you get over in a few days that is a huge win obviously. I have shortsighted on this fact myself. The J&J vaccine is very, very intriguing. One shot and done, easily transported and stored. J&J can manufacture at an incredible pace and capacity.

That's my understanding, yup.

Yeah we had to pay 46 bucks difference for "Lift and Shift". No biggie but I think its normal. Actually we still owe the 46 bucks, we have till May I think to pay off for a cruise in August that I think will be cancelled once again. ?

Pre cruise cart loaded, pay off or not?
RCIfan1912 replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Well that sale kicked in a few days ago and I just paid off what was in my cruise planner, Kennedy space center excursion, 2 adults 1 kid, 3 night dinning package for 2 adults, internet for 3 devices, helium balloon ride at Coco Cay for 1 adult, 1 kid for 655 and change, it was close to 900 I think, high 800's. I'm happy that price very much. Please Lord allow us to sail. -

That sounds great. I'm just gonna stay home and cry. ? For a lot of reasons. -

So depressing, this period has been just depressing. Not much else to say, not just cruising of course, on a lot of levels it's just depressing and sad. -

Ok, great that a lot of people got the same email. Am I reading too much into this by thinking maybe they know they aren't going to sail anytime soon or this year at all? I just got depressed typing that. ? -
I was hoping for this and just got an email that FCC has been extended to September 30 2022. Book by April 2022 but sail by September 30 2022. I'm very happy as we want to do a 9 day Canada/NE cruise. Anyone else get this email?

Pre cruise cart loaded, pay off or not?
RCIfan1912 replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Thanks for all the replies. I am gonna wait to pay off my cruise planner stuff. I just hope in waiting I don't end up with a higher bill. Maybe prices increase, that would not be productive. -
Pre cruise cart loaded, pay off or not?
RCIfan1912 replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
No, I understand they don't honor the price. I wasn't asking them to honor the price. I thought there was a post that said they were early in this thread. I'm asking if I should pay it off now because the cruise may not sail anyway, that's it. I wasn't asking for the sale price from a month ago. The consensus seems to be wait for another sale and I will do just that. Maybe another sale hits and then I'll pay for the cruise planner stuff. -

All I know is the price a month or 2 ago was incredible for everything. I'll wait a few weeks or a month to pay it off. My bonus isn't due for 2 weeks any way so that was the earliest I was gonna pay it off anyway. Thanks for the replies everyone. -

Yeah I want to say it was 668 bucks and now its 862.01. I was not ready to purchase then, hoping all the sales would last. Still I think this is still less than normal pricing as it is. -

Its funny you mentioned the same price. I'm pretty sure when I loaded in the cart a few months ago it was 680 bucks which was a steal and now it's in the high 800s but I'll have to look again. I think I'm just gonna pay it off. I mean it can't hurt. Please though we want to sail on August. ? -
Ok, our Oasis cruise August 22 that was like most of everyone moved from last year is loaded up with all the extra stuff in our cart. Excursions, Internet, dining package, all that good stuff. I was planning to pay it off this month as I get a work bonus. You think I should even bother? You even think the sailing in August will happen because I'm starting to doubt it at this point? If the cruise does get cancelled the money just gets refunded right? No move it to another cruise or anything? Thanks for any input.

Yeah there isn't a lot of crazy conspiracy running rampant in this country at the moment. We are the most ass backwards industrialized country of them all. We allow misinformation to dominate. It is 100% a fact that people are allowing conspiracy to cloud what they think of the vaccines. Its going to hinder us from getting out of this mess and ultimately cruises to start.
-
Ok, this is a fact. A lot of people are rejecting the vaccines because if conspiracy. Nut job conspiracy about microchips being implanted with the vaccine. Then there is fear that they are dangerous. That I can understand you a degree but much of it is irrational.

Actually I'm watching the BBC here from the US, gotta love the internet. I see what they are saying here. One dose or jab as the UK calls it (love the UK) protects enough that no one was hopitalized so getting that first dose to as many as possible is the goal here. Interesting strategy and I understand it now. Hopefully everything falls into place and we can all get this done.

I will add this is not all on the federal gov. The states play a large roll in this and the manufacturing and distribution has a large roll on this obviously. Its just getting started and we need patience, problem is we don't have time for patience. I truly believe once we get things moving here we can beat this thing by summer for the most part.

And that last paragraph is most important. Inexpensive and easy to deliver to people. This is enormous. The waiting for the second shot in a little worried about. I just don't know about that part of the equation.
