  1. Ok, I have a guy I work with that is pretty much an alcoholic. Anyway every time I go on a cruise he has me get him this booze that can only be found outside the US White Hennessy or Hennessy white. The last few times(years ago now, thanks Covid) it's been sold on the ship itself. Anyway know if this is sold in the liquor store on Adventure OTS? Really makes things easier.
  2. We will have a 7 month old on our cruise, do you think we should bother with the picture from the phone with him? I just think when we get to the port they are gonna take his picture again anyway. Honestly they might redo all our pictures.
  3. It says 90 days but that is not correct for at this time. Ours just opened yesterday for a July 26th sailing.
  4. Alright, just woke up (working OT today) and checked out the check in process. It looks fairly easy to complete but at was suggested I just did the arrival time and got the earliest, 10:30. The rest we will finish later. I'm very happy with they arrival time. Now we upload our vaccination cards and passports which I think is really cool and should make things nice and easy. They check both of the physical copies of those things at the terminal correct? How long does an this take now at the terminal? We used to check in and then sit for a while with a bunch of people before actually boarding. That was pre Covid.
  5. How is Adventure looking these days? Our Honeymoon cruise was on Explorer so we will always have a special place in our hearts for this class of Royal ships.
  6. We already have Giovanni's booked for day 3. All good there. Just want a very early boarding time.
  7. Oh wow, a wealth of great info. It is certainly a bit different than pre crappy Covid. We do like a very, very early check in. Actually as you check in times meant nothing before Covid. You could show up wherever and get on board. This sailing is the first I've been on that left at 3:00 PM so pretty early. I kinda like that a lot. We live in NJ and sailing from NJ so the time zone shouldn't be an issue. I was and am worried about the vaccine upload process and not being able to figure it out but great tips guys, great tips. My son will be 9 for sailing and he is vaccinated. We are going to Canada which I thought he had to be to sail to Canada but now I'm not sure but he is so no problem either way. Thanks again for the tips and info! Appreciate it very much.
  8. So our first cruise out of this God awful pandemic is late July on Adventure OTS. Check in is finally here tomorrow on the 11th. What will be different about checking in now in this era? You have to upload your vaccine card? The biggest question I think is this, is checking in super early recommended? Like should I wait till midnight exactly and check in right away? Does check in literally open at midnight exactly? Thanks for any help.
  9. Well this is a shame because this should be a very straight forward easy process. There really shouldn't be any rules regarding gift certificates. You gave them money and it should be redeemed when you feel like it for any purpose. I love Royal Caribbean but this ridiculous. They should change the way these work. If they didn't have these rules I would buy a 500 dollar one every now and then. Before I knew it I'd have a full cruise paid off before I even booked it.
  10. Well this kinda scares me a bit because I do not fly. I have a serious flying phobia so flying an absolute no go for me. We are doing a very short 4 day cruise to Halifax in late July. Hopefully nothing happens. Also Canada seems to have lost its mind with Covid, just a bit over the top and yeah the "just a bit" is sarcasm.
  11. Perfect, you set my mind at ease now. I feel much better now. He has been looking forward to CoCo cay for 2+ years now and was afraid he was too big for the "free" water features and only would have fun in the very expensive water thill park. I don't mind paying for that but I'm not a heights, waterslide guy so I'd be paying for 2 and he would be the only one doing anything. My wife forget it, no way and we have a 7 month old who of course has no need for the water park. Thanks again guys! I feel much better now.
  12. Yeah it does look like a lot of fun, is a 9 year old too big for something like that? Is that only for very little kids?
  13. So we were supposed to do this cruise in 2020 which he would have been 6 years old, instead because of covid we are going in August 2022 which now makes him 9. Without going "Thrill waterpark" what is there to do for a 9 year old? Is he too big for some of the free water features? He has wanted to go on the pirate ship water feature but is he now too big for that? I'm just kinda afraid he is in between ages for things to do but I have no idea never been there before. Thanks for any insight.
  14. Ok cool, I just had to refresh all my items in my cruise planner cart and save a bunch. 481 because 417. All booked up now.
  15. Oh my god I'm so glad you posted this! I was like going nuts because I went over this page a million times looking for a way to select "when I want to go". There is no way to choose a date. I've had everything loaded into my cart and haven't noticed a price change. Do I have to delete everything a reload to see a diff in price or should it reflect the new prices in the cart?
  16. Oh wow I'm also in Monmouth County. Not working on Chrome or my phone which is a Pixel 4XL.
  17. Oh wow, I hadn't check this thread out before starting my own that is now closed, opps, sorry. Anyway yeah I'm having this issue. Blank white screen. Tracking Oasis cruise for next May. I think the price dropped significantly too.
  18. I'm tracking a cruise for next year, actually a few but just now tried to do a "mock booking" but the screen goes blank. I find the cruises, find the date and click to continue to book but page goes blank, just a white screen. Anyone else having this issue?
  19. Thank you guys very much and there is something duh I hadn't thought of, and it's the commentary at each stop that gives you interesting facts and history. We do love that kinda stuff. The bus is regular size and easy for a 7 month old fit in? He's a great baby, this kid doesn't cry much. Our 8 year old when he was a baby was the complete opposite, just cried a lot. This baby boy not so much. We are huge Titanic buffs so that's why the Titanic tie in with this trip. We have been to the cemetery twice and we don't see us not going when in Halifax. Thanks again for the input.
  20. We are finally taking our first cruise out of this awful pandemic in late July. Short cruise to Halifax. Anyway we like the hop on/hop off bus. Question is we are only going to hop off on 3 stops, Maritime museum, Halifax public gardens, and Titanic cemetery. I read the Maritime museum is in walking distance as is the Halifax public gardens, but the Titanic cemetery is too far to walk. Could we just walk to the museum and Gardens and then get a ride to the cemetery? We will have a 7 month old with us too. Its also probably cheaper to book this outside of Royal Caribbean?
  21. Thank you for the info. I would definitely try this on Oasis if the bid prices are reasonable. We are in a central park balcony.
  22. Do all cruises offer "Royal up"? because our Oasis cruise in August is not listed yet as eligible.
  23. It says "pending" and I see there is the ability to modify. I guess it's just a waiting game. It's a short cruise on an older ship Adventure OTS so maybe that works in my favor.
  24. I'll have to check that part, I didn't notice that part. Thanks for the info, this is kinda exciting. Can't get hopes up too high though.
