I couldn't quite find the answer on the Royal Caribbean website and its hard to find info on there anyway. With the dining packages what is the age cutoff for kids having purchase? Our son will be 6 when we sail on Oasis in May. Do we have to purchase it for him? I remember on Oasis last year we didn't have a dining package but did eat at Jamies and he ate off the kids menu and not full price. Thanks for any info.

Yes, I believe you are correct. I think in that big dry dock that was one of the things they did. They made the smoke stack retractable which to me means Oasis will be up for many years to come. I don't think they'd spend that kind of money for a one season thing. Just can't wait for this cruise! To experience Oasis. This is gonna be the best. I don't fly, I just can't, big time phobia so we're sail from NY/NJ so Oasis coming here is the only way I'd be about to experience Oasis.

Oh awesome, same cruise. Have you sailed Oasis or Oasis class ship? Double awesome that we are on the first cruise on Oasis out of NJ! Hopefully they have everything worked out with going under the bridge with such a big ship. Hopefully we make it through. ??

The price of this cruise skyrocketed after we booked it, and big time. I think it's sold out or close.

Yeah we paid it off anyway. I mean its due in 9 days anyway on a non refundable rate. We really couldn't cancel if we wanted to but we don't.

And actually we are gonna pay it off today. Why wait till the last minute if we have the money. Now its party, once its paid off and in the double digits, its a party. We are just about there.

You know that crazy feeling of booking a cruise and then the build up each day of that excitement as you get closer each day. We hit 99 days today and now its getting real! I love that excitement. Our 6 year old son reads the new number almost every day. We will make our final payment in about 8 days and then we can register everyone. Print out cruise tickets and luggage tags. God this is just the best! Now to book another one for 2021 so that feeling never goes away. ?

Yeah no way I'm wearing that at Emerald or if we ever get to Pinnacle. Pinnacle is even more obnoxious if you ask me. Its like "here I am bitches, bow down to me". I don't recall seeing anyone in any C&A category where one but I really never looked closely either.

Explorer was our first "mega" ship which is now not considered a mega ship anymore. Amazing how things change and march forward.

That would be one tough birth as big as these ships are. I think about what my wife when through and our son was of normal size. ? A 200,000 ton birth would be painful. ?

I really can't wait for some artist renderings of this class of ship. I think this is gonna be revolutionary. I just feel Royal has something huge up their sleeve with this one.

I hope we get one up here in NJ at Cape liberty that's all I know. I would be very excited about that. I would have to book immediately just like when Oasis was announced to be coming up here.

Exactly, that's the only info. What it's powered by and the size. No info on design, amenities, and no artist renderings. I think Royal has something very big up their sleeve.
