I hear you on all points! If i get charged for anything that was included when i booked, I'm not going to be happy. We're already moving on from Royal after the new upcharge policy and the shoreside Genie disaster. So I'll be reading your blog with interest as well as @Lovetocruise2002 and @GregD's blog to see how this is playing out. But, i have no doubt that our mutual TA is somehow looking out for us as well

Ha! I've still not heard from ours a second time. First, Last, and only communication from ours was 11/22. We are still 3 weeks out yet though. I refuse to chase anything down. I'm sorta hoping that he loses contact all together and i can only deal with the ship Genie.

I can assure you she's not exaggerating! I belly laughed for a full 5 minutes! If Royal is charging me $50k for the room, why do they need an extra $15pp for a marginal meal? No. Just no. I truly hope everyone is complaining in the survey, whether their current sailings are grandfathered or not. I do not like what is coming and will not be back after our January cruise if they don't revert course. There are other options. Royal seems to arrogantly forget that.

Ricardo is the best! And listen, working the jobs we do, we have severe superstitions. There is a "Q" word we never say (think or ). Whenever someone says that word, we're in for a crazy busy night.
