At this point they changed her reservation to the married name so it matches the covid card. They are still having her bring the marriage certificate to bridge her passport number and crown and anchor number. I was surprised she was able to fid and retrieve her certificate so quick today. I spent two years looking for mine when I got divorced a few years ago. It was right where I put it but didn't remember til I found it... I was twisted all the way when they told me she needed it...

Kind of straightened out for now. Had to work with crown and anchor and that went surprisingly smooth. What sh they could find my missing year and points that easy.

By all means contact. If necessary contact over and over til they put you at ease... I'm in one of those married/ divorced name change messes myself. Took 4 agents last night to get it fixed... Three failed. One got it right. Today I had to move crown and anchor around some but got it right in first try...

Its not like shes a stranger to them. Plenty of previous cruises with RCL... She had to supply load of stuff before being the mother of then underage kids with different last name... I guess they don't keep those records. ?

Last night they changed their toon and were rather abrupt "She WILL be denied boarding unless..." Nothing like getting your blood pressure off track the night before a 1200 mile drive (for me) and a few days before her flights on a jam packed schedule! The 4th agent I spoke to was able to smooth things a little but she has to go hours out of her way to get the certicate out of storage...

She works full time and nothing in Jersey flows smoothly. Lucky she has it accessible in a safe deposit box. With so much else going on with picking her daughter ip in Vermont, doing the tests, flying to Florida, getting sitters for horse, dog, cats, chickens , its a lot on her plate... I'm driving down with packed suitcases and stuff...

Problem is the covid card is in married name....

It couldn't be simple. They were very specific they need the marriage license to make that bridge but for now the vacc card is NOT accepted. More fun time in the terminal I guess...

I just went to the CVS site to sign up... Got all signed up no issue for next Thursday. Got to the end and was informed that its some state run facility and not a CVS or Urgent care facility. I'm glad I saw that cause if I had pulled up to the address and not seen "CVS" I would have been in a panic...

The three should work. Shes exceptionally smart and professional but she misses "details" now and then. I'm ocd as well and get stuff done right as far in advance as I can. She waits til last minute on too much stuff. She only booked her flights yesterday! For a week from now... Her son is missing the trip cause he never bothered to get second vaccine shot... Oh well. I get double double points. She is staying in daughter's room... I'll be solo in mine....

Crew Center has been informed that Bravo Code was sounded on the Jewel of the Seas at this moment. The ship is now sailing across the Atlantic Ocean to Miami where it is scheduled to arrive on November 14. The vessel is in the middle of the Atlantic which is the worst place to have an emergency situation. Our source said that all crew members are going to the I-95 wearing lifejackets and the atmosphere is tense. There was a water flooding on Deck 1 in the front section of the vessel, which caused a chemical reaction followed by thick smoke. Portside Launching team has been called at the emergency stations in order to be prepared for launching of the lifeboats. Launching team has been called to Lifeboat 14, and everyone is on standby, the crew member said. Shortly after the Captain made an announcement, that the situation is under control. As far as we know there are no injured crew members during this emergency. Jewel of the Seas is sailing across the Atlantic with only crew members on board and there are no passengers during this voyage.

MyFiance' is somebody elses ex wife, Her passport that she is booked with is in her Maiden name. The vaccine test was done with drivers license and thats still in married name. This morn I was looking through the check ins and noticed she was flagged for "invalid"? I have to assume the name thing would be the difference? I called and they didn't have any info. I guess bring the card, the DL and the Passport?

After all this time since last cruise I don't want to screw anything ip. Thats why all these normally easy questions...

Ok we for the most part are educated about the Royal App. I had to nudge my Fiance' to put it on her phone and her daughter's... It took a little explaining that they "HAD" to do it...She then asked a question I didn't have an answer to. Maybe you have that answer? "What about people like her or my Mom"? They are getting up there in years. Neither her mom nor mine have a "smart phone" . Inn fact my mom only got her first cell phone (not smart) about a year ago. No texting. Just a phone for emergencies if she fell or had car issues. What do they do? They are both late 80's and teaching them new tricks really doesn't work. Gets me wondering about families who are a touch tight with their kids and they too do' "all" have smart phones. I was a late bloomer myself. Had cell for a long time. Only added text about 10 years ago and "first smart Iphone" about 4 years ago.

Room is paid for in full for two. No insurance. Know we only get taxes and fees back. Have heard both ways about let them know or do last minute thing. Both with explanations of what is better. Seemed like it was geared toward Airlines. I swung by a post someplace thats said "boats" were included as well. Anybody got a firm grip on what is???.

You can get qiadruple if you are alone in a regular cabin as well is my understanding?
