The lifts will move. But not fast enough for a full show. So they can be up or down. As long as they are down they can do a show. But not Oasis of Dreams as it need all three lifts to work independently. Cast members are rehearsing Aqua Nation in its place. 

The aqua theatre is on schedule to be open. However there will be no lifts operating in the pool. So the “Oasis of Dreams” show is not planned to return until it has undergone dry dock in sept. But there will be other shows. The rest of the ship will be in full gear. Lots to do on the Oasis.

The new cast just boarded a few weeks ago. They are only doing a 6 month contract until drydock. They are currently being taken care of at the studios in miami. And being well taken care of by Royal. 

they are working around the clock as it makes it’s way to dry dock.  They may make it look presentable by May 5 but I dought the Aqua show will be up and running. As others mentioned it is a highly technical under/over water show. However. The performers are suppose to board the ship Mid to late sept. So there may be some type of scaled down show at the aqua theatre if it is not fully functional.

The word right now is that the Aqua theatre will not be ready for guests in Europe.

Extensive damage to the theatre as you can see.  And that's just the ground level damage.

It's a tight fit in those coffer dams.  If they are at the point of performing the lift, the coffer dams were closed and tightly surrounding the azipods.  If the dry dock collapsed or broke apart, it's hard to imagine the azipods not being damaged. 

When Allure dinged a prop, it took months to forge a new one.  She limped along at a reduced speed for a while.  

 

Going to be a lot of damage topside as well.  The Aqua theatre will be out of commission for some time.
