Hi, does anyone have a recent Schedule at a Glance and the Cruise Compass for Symphony of the Seas - Western Caribbean. Please share. We are very keen to see all the activities planned through the day, especially highlights like the evening music, parades, theme nights, games and competitions,etc.

Is it okay to take away snacks or food back to your room for later. Which restaurants allow it?

I will keep checking within the 40 day span before the cruise. I too am planning to print and carry all key docts.

I have also started getting updates of my dinner and entertainment reservations on the app, just the excursions still to reflect.

Less than 60 days to go for our Cruise on Symphony of the Seas and we are very EXCITED. We have completed our online check-in a while back and have our Set Sail Passes on the app. I have heard that we will receive the luggage tags, either through mail or on the app too. Aside from that, are there any other documents that we should expect to receive from Royal Caribbean ? First time cruisers so not sure what to expect.  Thanks.

We want to do a half day excursion and RCCL offers this excursion to Mayan Eden Eco Park in Roatan, Honduras.

The highlights of Eco-Park Adventure Tour  include:

Mayan Eden: View ancient Mayan sculptures and encounter native animals like monkeys and toucans while exploring this nature preserve.
Roatan jungle: Follow a guide on foot along forest trails and over a suspension bridge to relish Caribbean Sea views.

Has anyone stayed in a Promenade view cabin, please share your room pics/videos if you have. 

There seem to be just a few of these cabins on deck 7 on the Symphony of the Seas. They are spacious for an interior and have a window overlooking the royal promenade.

Sounds yummy. How many hours was the tour experience. Did you have to take local transport to the place or did they do a pick up and drop. Could you share a link pls.

Thanks all. Since this is my first visit to Fort Lauderdale, I will probably go with Riverside Hotel since it is in a prime location and gives me an opportunity to see a bit of the city as well. The water taxi and trolleys will allow me to check out the beach and the waterways.

Hi, I have blocked 2 hotels in Fort Lauderdale pre-cruise and would like some feedback about them. One of them is Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Boulevard and the other is the Holiday Inn Express Fort Lauderdale - Cruise Airport on 17th Street Causeway.

Tell me which would be your preferred hotel for a 2 nights pre-cruise stay and why ? TIA

Mariner and Navigator have The Bamboo Room with some really cool drinks that are very good.

A frozen lemonade with Grey Goose is a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.  

The Kraken Lavaflow deserves honorable mention.  

Pictures of drinks?  I kind of went overboard in the Bamboo Room on Navigator.

Hi sooo what is your Favorite Cocktail on ship. I have bought the Deluxe beverage package and now I need to make a  LIST of all the delicious drinks I can have with it.

Thanks for the suggestions. San Juan sounds very interesting and I want to see the El Morro fort and the Old town.

St Maarten sounds like more of a fun place and will try the water taxi for the views.

We will keep in mind the issue of ship time. That was a good tip for us.

We are on the Allure of the Seas Eastern Caribbean cruise in September and the Cruise planner is full of excursions.

But we would like to just do a little local sightseeing and shopping and beach fun on our own in the ports St. Maarten, San Juan? Do we really need to book Excursions?

Labadee is of course a Royal Caribbean property so I am not too worried about that and will just enjoy the beaches.

Thanks for the updates. I guess the best way is to pick up a cocktail or wine on the way to dinner... and then order at table.

Does the mdr American Icon grill have its own bar so that we can get our own cocktails without waiting for a drinks server?
