Another 1st for me trying to blog. This won’t be live because I understand internet isn’t great on adventure of sea. Going on this cruise, Hubby, Daughter, 5 year old granddaughter and myself. This was originally going to be Disney Cruise. I started planning it as a way to get through Chemo in August 2017. It was originally planned for October 2019. Because of staffing issues it was moved to January 2020. When researching I discovered that we could book 2 bedroom grande suite on Royal for same price as family room in Fantasy.

Yes my boarding time is between 12-2. I know better from reading here.

Now I’m even more excited. Just received email from concierge. We’ve never had a suite experience. Looking forward to huge balcony.

We will take Lyft. I have never used Lyft or Uber so this is another new adventure. I’m going to try and take pictures to post of our cabin.

Looks like I should check Lyft to hotel and port. Hotel charges $12 per person each way.

That’s just the information I was looking for. Yes we are on 17th street.

I forgot to mention, 4 people who a absolutely overpack?. We are staying at Embassy Suites. Is La Bamba within walking distance?

After booking 455 days ago we just have 7 sleeps left. We are in 2 bedroom grand suite on adventure of sea leaving 1/4/20. I think we will take hotel shuttle to ship but how do we get from ship back to Airport? Does it need to be precooked? I really appreciate all the information I have found on this site. We haven’t been on a cruise for 8 years.

I’m so excited. My granddaughter’s passport arrived. We are finally checked in. I was getting stressed waiting on it to arrive. I had really wanted it to be ordered it earlier.

We have 2 bedrooms grand suite on adventure of seas. We leave January 4. I just received royal up offer. $500 each for royal suite and $150 each for owners suite. We want the 2 real beds so I will pass this time.

January 4 2020 Adventure of sea. Soda package went down to$6.50, Refreshment went down to $19. The 3 device surf and stream went down to$21.50. I saved $100. Unfortunately the 3 day dining is still $79. Hopefully it will go down cyber Monday.

Vacation time was approved today.?️. Ready to get away from snow and put toes in sand.

Congratulations on 12 years. It’s a wonderful feeling. I started planning this cruise while going thru treatments to have something wonderful to focus on.

It’s now becoming real. I just had my 2 year cancer free scan. We will be in a 2 bedroom grand suite on adventure of seas on January 4, 2020. We are going to ABC islands. It’s myself, hubby, daughter and 5 year old granddaughter.?. Only small issue, I can’t put in for my vacation time until November 15. It shouldn’t be an issue I hope, I told them I booked it in May 2018.

On our Adventure of sea 2 bedroom grand suite fit 8 people. Could it be a lifeboat issue since it’s last minute booking? I hope you can make the trip work for your family.

On our 8 day adventure of sea cruise, no lobster is being shown on the Royal app. Hubby is very disappointed.
