Durham Mama Bear got a reaction from The Cruise Junkie in Free trip from playing a Facebook game MyVegas
I have the slots running on Auto-Spin in my computer background during the workday. I just click it every once in a while if I see it has stopped. I also added the Blackjack to my phone to play; I'm learning strategy in preparation for my July cruise!

The only food offered in Adventure Ocean is if the kids are there long enough for a meal. As an example, if your kid is there on a port day and stays from 9am to 4pm, they will be served lunch.
But in general, there are no snacks offered. It's just meals if they happen to be there long enough.
You could always swing by and temporarily take them out for a bite to eat and then have him go back.

Some of us are anxiously tracking the development of the Royal Caribbean app.  I thought it would be a good idea to track the features and updates in this spreadsheet.  With the spreadsheet in Google Sheets format, other like-minded ones can also contribute.  Updates can be found via the changelog when the app is updated.  However, app users may notice a capability that may not have been specifically announced for the ship they're sailing on.
    Column A contains the features.
Cells B1-Z1 contain the ship names.
Feel free to add new features as they're announced.

I generally bring $500-$600 and always come home with money.  Tipping porters and other onboard staff is easy to figure, but what you may need cash for in a port is a variable I want to be prepared for.

There are ATMs on the ship. However the one in the casino was down and I believe the only other one on board and that was working was down near Guest Services. The fees are on the high side. I bring plenty of cash and it goes directly into the safe in the cabin and then taken out as needed. While moving from place to place (plane, cab/lyft/uber/ embarkation/disembarkation) the cash goes in a pouch on my lanyard with passport and goes inside my shirt. This one is similar to the one I have. Once onboard you can use it for seapass, cruise compass, little cash, etc., especially when leaving the ship in port.

As far as the porters go, the rule of thumb is $1-2 per bag that they haul for you or load into the carts for boarding. When disembarking I tend to tip more than embarking since they're actually lugging your stuff around while guiding you out of the terminal, and often haul it to where you will be getting your ride to the airport or post-cruise hotel. Plus, they have a special line to get through customs more quickly, which is worth whatever tip money I give out all on its own.

If I remember right, the markets in Labadee are cash-only. @Matt, is that correct?

It's a tough question because we all have different spending habits.
I try to use a credit card whenever possible, but there are definitely instances you need cash. I'd say it's safe to say you should bring $4-500 to cover your bases.
Yes, although you can always get cash from ATM (service fee) or cash advance from cashier (service fee as well).
Depends on the shop.  50/50 chance
