  1. Click on your name in the upper right hand corner and choose "Account Settings". On the left you will see "Signatures". Whatever you type in there will be in every post that you make in the forums.
  2. It's very possible that all that were available were GTYs. For example, there may have been one or 2 cabins left for the "choose your cabin" option. But a few people are all looking at once, and if someone books (or goes far enough in the booking process), those cabins will get pulled out of the inventory and you may have only had GTY left.
  3. You can still buy the insurance. You just wouldn't be covered by anything that results from the pre-existing condition. You'd still be covered for things like trip delay, lost luggage, etc.
  4. Your time ashore will be on your booking invoice. However, it is always subject to change.
  5. I'd buy it and then just watch for price drops. If it drops you can cancel and repurchase it.
  6. Never pay attention the percent off. Just look at the base price per device per day. With Royal Math, 25% off could actually be cheaper than 30% off. I always book it, pay attention to the price per device per day, and check back for price breaks (again, only looking at the price per device per day). Sales occur all of the time - Black Friday isn't always the best price, and sometimes there are random price drops between sales.
  7. This is a fan site, and not monitored or affiliated with Royal Caribbean. On the first day of your cruise, you can go to the main dining room and see where your assigned table is (your table number will be on your Sea Pass Card). If you'd like to change your table, just talk to the Matire de, who will be on duty in the afternoon. Enjoy.1
  8. I would definitely arrive no more than a day early. Too much can go wrong with even domestic flights much less international flights. It would be insanity to try to arrive the day of the saling.
  9. I'm sure they can sell you one and just not program it. They program them when you buy them.
  10. It depends on the ship. Some don't have them at all, some might have them, but they are pretty inaccessible. There's also usually no way on their remotes to switch to the HDMI, so you would have to plan to bring a universal remote.
  11. Sheri, from Cruise Tips TV, has used them a few times. Here's one of her experiences.
  12. Daybeds on other beaches are reserved and purchased in advance. At Hideaway Beach, there aren't many of them, but they are first-come, first-served and complimentary. But you have to pretty much get there when it opens to snag one.
  13. Yes, it would. The only thing it wouldn't cover is if there was protein powder added.
  14. I've had The Key several times. The Key section at shows was never front row. The Key is only a good deal if it is under $20 pp, imo.
  15. The Hideaway Bar/Pool (if you don't have kids)
  16. That will cover your appetizers, one entree, and dessert for each person paid. You can view menus online or in the app. There are a few items that have an upcharge, but you can have a great meal without spending extra beyond the per-person charge.
  17. This is as close as I could find.
  18. I've booked lunch the same time that I've booked my dinners, but I've also been able to just walk into lunch in nearly any specialty restaurant when I've wanted. Book if you want a guarantee, but if you want to play it by ear, just have a back up plan. What ship will you be on?
  19. I love the Port of Galveston. We love staying at the Harbor House, which has a free shuttle but is not cost-efficient. It does have free breakfast, though, lol. I know you'll get lots of recommendations here! Most people don't fly into Galveston, as the airport is quite small. Most people fly into Hobby International or George Bush International (both in Houston). We take an Uber to Galveston and then either an Uber or a shuttle back.
  20. If you are at the bar and the reader is close, sometimes you can just put your wrist on the reader. If not, you'll have to take it off, or if you have a waiter who serves you at a table/chair away from the bar you'll have to take it off and let them take it to the bar to scan it.
  21. You can make a request if it is within 30 days of putting your first deposit down. And the travel agent has to agree to release the booking.
