  1. Even on the Royal App, it says testing is for unvaccinated only.
  2. Ai ai ai… this is all so confusing. Royal should synchronize all information available on all platforms. The info I have is from the check-in information that shows up with my bookings. Now another section of their site has a different set of information. I am a reasonably informed cruiser and I’m confused. Can you imagine how this goes for uninitiated cruisers?

  4. I thought the proof of negative test was only for the unvaccinated?
  5. I received this email for my cruise on Freedom in October. I responded and submitted my vaccination status but I cannot see anything in my documents or my check-in status that I have done so. The last thing I want to happen is to be denied boarding for non-compliance to this requirement. How can I verify/confirm that Royal has received my reply?

  7. Let me preface this by saying "Your mileage may vary". The embarkation lunch I got from Chop's Grille as a Key guest on the Empress OTS was not very appealing. I definitely did not enjoy the dried out steak and the wilted asparagus. What a way to start a cruise, right?
  8. I've gotten the Key before. The only benefit I got from it was the Chops Diner lunch. In the theater, I like sitting out front, so I did not benefit from the reserved seating area for Key guests. On port days, I'm usually with my "branded" (sticker) group for the shore excursion, so the priority disembarkation is not needed. With all the changes to boarding times and the capacity not being full, the Key benefits are not really key.
  9. I posted on Royal's Facebook Page about this issue. They said they were aware of it and they're looking to fix it.
  10. No success for me. Same error message shows up on Safari. On Chrome I could not even get to the Cruise Planner, it keeps going on a loop asking me to sign in every time I click "Plan My Cruise"

  14. I'm sorry to hear you've been getting it too, but I'm also glad to know that the error is not from my end.
  15. I've always factored in onboard laundry services into my planning. I'm not really into dressing up so since I've made cruising my R&R of choice, the clothes I buy are the "laundry-friendly" ones. Goodbye fancy linens!

  17. It gets all the way to me supplying my credit card and billing information. The error message shows up as soon as I press "Submit Payment"
  18. I've gotten this error message when I tried checking out (submitting payment) for Cruise Planner items. Does anybody know how to fix this error?
  19. When Royal published its new schedule for sailings, I asked my TA to cancel my bookings for Brilliance and Rhapsody because Royal took them off the schedule. I had already booked other cruises to replace them Now, both sailings have been replaced with bookings on the Serenade. My TA says it's nothing to worry about I'm worried. Other cruises I've canceled have already disappeared from my Upcoming Cruises. But these Serenade bookings are "stubbornly" staying there. My fear is that I might not get the refunds I'm expecting because Royal's system might be showing them as replaced cruises.
  20. Somebody needs to explain to me the pros and cons of refundable deposits. All I know is that they cost more. Do we have a thread on that? A blog post maybe, @Matt?
