  1. I don't understand. The link I posted is on the RCLwebsite. If you check your upcoming cruises on the Royal website, canceled cruises show up as "Canceled Cruises" with a bright orange background.
  2. I read that depending on how warm the season may be, the wildlife could still be on hibernation mode in May.
  3. The reason I ask is because I've already done a September cruise. I was wondering if May might be better.
  4. I was on the Ovation in early September 2019. I too was looking out for the Northern Lights one night. I gave up around midnight (Alaska Time) because my Floridian body clock was telling me it was 4AM. The next day, the lady next to me on the excursion shuttle was showing pictures she had taken of the Northern Lights the night before. I had gone to bed one hour too early... (shaking my head)
  5. Since this thread is about Alaska pre-planning, I'd like to ask about timing an Alaskan cruise. If one were to choose between May and September (the shoulder seasons), which would be better? What are the pros and cons of each option?
  6. Here, try this link. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/vaccination-form

  8. Look under the SetSail Pass. You can also click the “Health” button in the bottom of the screen
  9. Screenshot taken August 23. They have updated the testing requirements on the Royal App. It’s for ALL guests now
  10. In another forum I belong to, the buttons for "Notifications" and the "Messages" show up when I press the hamburger (menu) button at the top
  11. I'm thinking of getting a water bottle filter from Brita, PUR, Zero Water or other similar brands, just for an additional layer of protection (or is that just my OCD thinking?)
  12. Hi @Matt! I have some questions about the mobile version of the Message Boards. 1. Where can I find the links/buttons for the "Notifications" and the "Messages"? They're available on the full/desktop version but I couldn't find them on the mobile version. 2. Notifications about quotes and reactions show up on my devices, but clicking on them doesn't open to the post being mentioned. Am I missing something in my settings?
  13. Here’s a screenshot I just took today (Aug 21). That’s below the Set Sail Pass
  14. Even on the Royal App, it says testing is for unvaccinated only.
  15. Ai ai ai… this is all so confusing. Royal should synchronize all information available on all platforms. The info I have is from the check-in information that shows up with my bookings. Now another section of their site has a different set of information. I am a reasonably informed cruiser and I’m confused. Can you imagine how this goes for uninitiated cruisers?
  16. I took the screenshot this morning (Aug 21). It shows up with my check-in information on the Royal website
  17. I thought the proof of negative test was only for the unvaccinated?
  18. I received this email for my cruise on Freedom in October. I responded and submitted my vaccination status but I cannot see anything in my documents or my check-in status that I have done so. The last thing I want to happen is to be denied boarding for non-compliance to this requirement. How can I verify/confirm that Royal has received my reply?
  19. Here we go again! https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/8218346002
  20. Let me preface this by saying "Your mileage may vary". The embarkation lunch I got from Chop's Grille as a Key guest on the Empress OTS was not very appealing. I definitely did not enjoy the dried out steak and the wilted asparagus. What a way to start a cruise, right?
