can confirm — after our sailing on seascape in april — that certain cruises on MSC since a carnival-esque feel. so. there’s that.

as some one who has also fallen down stairs while sailing…. 0/10 recommend. hope you’re okay. would share my arnica if we were sailing together!!

okay here we go: - ascent 2025 // 12.1-12.12 - beyond 2026 // 2.1-2.8* - silhouette 2026 // 5.2-5.10 (repo ending up in NJ) - ascent 2026 // 12.4-12.14 - ascent 2027 // 2.5-2.15 *thankfully all are out of FLL but the beyond sailing, which is our LAST sailing out of MIA, god willing. i am pretty sure we have @Ampurp85 and @InmyElement for at least one of these???? the more the merrier, let’s go!!!! ps: i don’t have any fancy rates but i can offer packing lists and fashion advice if needed

oasis and allure have the open space between the bedroom and living room — maybe one of the selling points to booking a 1BR GS on this class of ship for that very reason — i suspect it was done to more clearly delineate the two spaces and accommodate separate sleeping arrangements. but i agree — the wall really closes in the space. we had a 1BR GS booked on symphony last year and stalked the cabin fares; we were fortunate enough to upgrade to a crown loft suite and loved the space, the loft ceilings and double bathroom setup. that may not always be possible, but maybe it is worth keeping your eye on cabin fares and possibly royal up bids!

i had a few parts go on a one of my suitcases and they sent a new one to replace it as well!! love their customer service. happy to hear the softside also is holding up strong -- i probably should invest in a soft suitcase given the weight limits these days...

probably the higher end of the bunch from a cost perspective, but i swear by away luggage. they have an excellent warranty and i have had my suitcases for years. we are fortunate enough to cruise a few times a year but also have other travel that we attend to and my away luggage has held up beautifully. they occasionally run sales (most notably for black friday) but i think there is a $100 off if you buy a set at this time. they have both hard and soft side luggage but my hard shell luggage has been outstanding. 15/10 would recommend!!
