Just MHO but are things not as bad as predicted BECAUSE of the extreme safety measures taken? Again IMHO, if the stay at home orders had not been in place, an awful lot of people would have been out spreading Covid. Hindsight is easy but I believe if we had not taken the measures we did, we would not be talking about any light at the end of the tunnel.

I did email them (sorry - don't do social media but thank you for the suggestion) I am going with she is stressed due to all the cancellations and moving of dates she's had to do at this point. I am pretty confident my cruise is eligible for CWC.

And I sent that to her and she replied with: Hi Gail, Royal Caribbean has been changing this policy since March. For the cruise with confidence policy this can be used for your sailing if you are wanting to change before August 1st however it does not apply to your sailing up to the 48 hours prior to sailing policy as it is past August 2nd. Non-Refundable Deposit bookings are eligible for Cruise with Confidence and follow the same guidelines. Prior to the Final Payment deadline, Non-Refundable Deposit bookings wishing to change to a future, qualifying ship and sail date can do so with no fee assessed if the booking is re-accommodated on-or-before August 1, 2020. Beginning on-or-after August 2, 2020, standard policies apply. As Ogilthorpe said above, it sounds like she is quoting the L & S program.

Thought I was crazy! She insists I'm wrong. I know they are all very busy with all the cancellations but was hoping for at least accurate information. ?

Trying to make sense of this and my TA and I seem to have different interpretations of the program. My reading is that any cruise BOOKED by 8/1/20 and SAILING before 4/30/2022 is eligible. So the cruise she booked for me on Tuesday, sailing 2/20/21 is eligible and I could cancel for any reason on a non-refundable fare any time prior to 2/18/21 and get the fare back in the form of a FCC. She says I must CANCEL prior to 8/1/20 to get the benefit of the CWC. This makes no sense to me. Help?

I’m afraid I don’t understand what good a picture of your passport would do although I do have a picture of everyone’s passport on my phone. But the passports go with me when we get off the ship at a foreign port. A picture isn’t getting me on a flight or helping me avoid a trip to a US Embassy or Consulate. And I have yet to read first hand experience of someone missing the ship & having their passports left with a dock agent. People say they’ve heard it’s what happens but has it actually happened to anyone here?

Rhapsody of the Seas - 2/20/21- 7 Days out of Tampa - Ports are Key West - Cozumel - Costa Maya - Grand Caymans. We are taking our 2 adult children(how's that for an oxymoron?) and getting an Owners Suite. This is making up for 2 other family cruises we've had to cancel due to my son's issues. Me too. I blame it on my son as I as pregnant with him when I joined the club. Ya know that burger that's been on the grill since the party started? Yeah, yeah that charcoal briquette. That's mine!!! Hubby knows if it doesn't crunch, it isn't ready!! Only burgers though, medium for my steaks and chewy but not raw bacon. Some of the stuff I've seen at WJ breakfast looks like its never actually been on the grill!!!!
