  1. My sister-in-law cruised after having foot surgery. She was in a walking boot, so mobility was a little bit of an issue, but it was their first cruise, and they loved it. My mom cruised less than a week after chemo. She couldn't cancel either because it was too close. I told her if there is any vacation where she can relax after chemo, it was a cruise. It obviously wasn't her best cruise, but she did have a good time. If the doctor gives you the okay, I say go! Have a great cruise!
  2. You only need to reserve this under one guest name. It is confusing the way it is presented. I reserved it under my name for my husband and myself.
  3. If it is before final payment, they should. I saved a little over $500 recently on 2 cruises that we have booked for 2019.
  4. I agree with @WAAAYTOOO. I love the cabanas at Labadee and Coco Cay. I like to read (and don't really like to sit in the sun), so the shade is a huge plus for me. I don't remember how much we paid at Coco Cay for the cabana, but I'm sure it was cheaper than the Labadee cabanas. IMO the cabana is totally worth it. With that said, we did rent the "beach lounger for two" on our last visit to Labadee, and loved that too. It was a HUGE cost reduction to the cabanas there. Not sure if they offer those on Coco Cay.
  5. Relaxation artist here too. I am with @Sabrinaklai in that I consider myself a lazy cruiser. My husband would prefer it if I was more adventurous with excursions and such.
  6. I did this too. We took our youngest on Oasis for his high school graduation with 2 friends. They all shared a boardwalk balcony. We had to do some cabin shifting with my other son. So cabin attendant was expecting 2 teens and got 3 teens. Their cabin was a mess all week! I tipped the guy up front and again at the end of the trip. He was awesome! The kids told me that he brought them pastries one morning!
  7. Hello! I have been reading this blog for years, but I am not new to cruising. My husband and I have been on 5 Disney cruises and 18 with Royal. This blog has provided a wealth of information and help over the years. Love it! I finally decided to join. I don't belong to ANY social media, which is probably why I hesitated to join. Maybe I can provide some help to someone too.
  8. My husband and I sailed on the Hurricane Irma shortened Oasis of the Seas in September. Cruise should have been 7 nights, but was changed to 4 nights. We both received 7 C&A points for the trip.
