What is RCI's policy for changing a guest name on a booked reservation?  How long before the cruise can you change a guest?  Is there a charge?

Thanks Twangster! I Just read the comments section under the announcement (should have done that first!) and it will be fleet wide by end of 2019.  I'm sure royal will announce the schedule later (I think Oasis, Allure & Serenade are the first ones to get it)

When does it look like the new features will be available on the new Royal phone app they have announced?..in particular the free texting to your friends/family on board.  Was hoping it would be available for April 2019.  I figured they might roll it out on the Oasis & Quantum class first...of course I might enjoy that order your own drink app too (haha)

I just hope they don't do away with the Sea Pass cards....I'm sure I'm not the only one collects them....

I've had similar "There's a Glitch in the Matrix" situations with the RCI website.  One almost gave me a heart attack when it said my B-D cruise in 1.5 years was already sold out!  Just wait a few hours or next day and it "should" go back to Normal.

I also agree with Sabrina about the mini water show.  It is usually worth going to but I find it a bit hard to hear what they are saying sometimes.

Yes, congrats!   I've found this site to be (although specific to Royal) very nice & welcoming.  I've been on cruise critic for 3 years now and some people tend to be so uptight & just rude.  I think those people were behind the barn door when a sense of humor was given out but who knows ; ) 

I'm curious, What is a "Top Tier Event" under diamond perks.....Is that a private captains party or VIP seating for the top shows on board?

So I signed up for $10 a month but I'm not sure if it went through...very confusing

On the RCI website, they used to show you all the floor plans for all the Royal Class Suites....unfortunately they seem to have removed that feature

On Anthem there is an entrance for Suites guest including Jr. Suites for boarding

The Spa Jr. suite does not have a walk-In closet but it does have 2 bathrooms...one with a toilet and sink...the other with a sink, bathtub and walk-In shower with Fogged window & seat.

The closet has plenty of space and there are several drawers where the TV is to put stuff. 

We are taking the Acela from Boston to NJ the day before the cruise.  It has 2 stops in NJ..one in Newark, NJ & the other at EWR (Airport) From what Twanster says...I should take the train to EWR because it's closer to the cruise port, Correct?

Although Jr. Suites are smaller they tend to be more "open" then Grand suites which are a lot like 2 Stateroom together divided by a semi wall.  I did prefer the Jr. Suite feel over the grand suite but the Grand suite has the better perks (Concierge lounge w/ free drinks, all day access to coastal kitchen, Priority seating)

The only perks I got when booking back in february was only $100 deposit instead of $200 plus $ 50 onboard credit which is really not that much....I can do so much better.  If I see that Free grautities for suite guests again I will pounce on it!

I am booked on 3 cruises...One I booked during last months promotion and got a great deal.  The other 2 I booked back in February onboard another cruise(Next cruise) I haven't paid the balance in full yet...just the deposit.  Am I allowed to re-book under a current promotion or are they just for New bookings only?

Trying to get the lowest price promotion for friends for an upcoming B-D cruise in April 2019...wanted to know if the best deals would be February 2018 or if they can find better ones 6 months before the cruise (OCT 2018)  My fear is that the cruise would be sold out if I have them wait too long...

I know the recent RCI promotion is ending soon...when does RCI normally do these promotions?...I think I remember around Christmas time and in February....

We are going on a 4 day cruise with my daughter & her boyfriend...she's 18 , he's 17 1/2....do I need a parental consent form from his parents?  Going to Cozumel, Mexico

Also will my daughter be allowed in the Bars/nightclub at 18?
