Royal Caribbean will once again have a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year, likely to promote the arrival of Anthem of the Seas to her new homeport of the New York City area.

Macy's Thanksgiving Parade website has Royal Caribbean's float listed and a photo of the float that Royal Caribbean has used for the last two years, entitled, "A World At Sea".

The float was designed by the creative artists of the Macy’s Parade Studio and depicts three distinct postcard scenes which take place onboard a Royal Caribbean ship. The rotating scenes depict three “WOW” moments found only on Royal Caribbean, including the FlowRider surf simulator, thrilling zip line and iconic rock climbing wall.

Royal Caribbean has had a parade float in the annual event the last two years to promote sister ship, Quantum of the Seas.

As part of Royal Caribbean's continuing promotional efforts surrounding Quantum of the Seas, the company will have a float in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

No word yet on what we can expect but there will be a float and Royal Caribbean will invite select travel partners and frequent cruise guests to attend the parade, much like they did last year.

Macy's parade website does feature Royal Caribbean's float, entitled "A World At Sea" and has a photo of last year's float.

Royal Caribbean had a float in the parade last year to announce that Mamma Mia would be the Broadway show on Quantum of the Seas and it even featured Quantum of the Seas godmother Kristin Chenoweth.

Royal Caribbean is adding a brand new float to the 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade next week and we've got a sneak peek of what the float will look like.

The new float is called, "A World at Sea from Royal Caribbean" and is meant to be 3-D postcards from a cruise, the revolving scene changes from rock climbing to surfing to flying through the sky on a zip line.

Quantum of the Seas godmother Kristin Chenoweth will be on the float for the parade.
