Construction update at Port Liberty-Easy to park?

Hello,

 

I would like to know if anyone went on a cruise recently (the last 2-3 months) from Port Liberty.  I'm trying to figure out were to park.  I read from different cruise board that the port is a mess with long waiting time to park your car and reviews from different parking companies are no different.  Any recommandations?  Hotel-Cruise-Package?

It's very easy to park at the port.  The parking is across the street from the terminal and it's about a 50 yard walk.

Hmm- Couple of hotel options but they are by Newark Airport I can suggest
They allow parking for 7-10 days for free (many hotels do this too) and a taxi to port

is about $40.    Crowne Plaza Hotel, Newark  - Wyndham Hotel and Resorts (EWR)
