But many here have done so, putting it in their carry-on bag (not a checked bag!), and had no issues when going through security. As @Matt, our dearest leader friend and blog founder, is fond of saying: Just follow a don't ask / don't tell policy. What itinerary will you be taking? The same rules apply for water and soda. More information can be found in this thread: As @JLMoran said, carry it on and don't volunteer that you have it. If asked, then tell them it's water, but only if asked. For what it's worth, I haven't had any problems caring water or soda onboard.
