Corlealeo
I will be taking my first cruise with Royal Caribbean this summer and docking at San Juan, St. Maarten and Haiti. Which would be the best location for scuba? We also go to Bermuda, but have already dived there once before.
Matt
I'm not scuba expert, but I'd say definitely not Labadee (Haiti). Frankly, not even sure if Royal Caribbean offers a scuba excursion there. Corlealeo

WAAAYTOOO
Corlealeo, what time of the year are you cruising ? That makes a huge difference in the Caribbean. I have been on dive trips in the dead of winter when you couldn't see your hand in front of your face no matter WHERE you were diving. That seemed to be b/c the wind is so much more of an issue in the winter than in the summer. I have not dove in San Juan or Haiti but have in St. Maarten. It was a complete disaster but again, was at Christmas. I have learned over the years just to steer clear of diving altogether during the winter. MUCH better in the summer, but of course, you are dodging hurricanes which would be a problem also ! :)
