TwoCanSailAway Posted February 17 Author Report Posted February 17 Greeting All! Only 136 Days to go!! Fair warning, from our review most hotels have inflated prices in downtown Seattle due to the 4th of July. So if you haven't started looking at hotels, you might want to sooner rather than later. We have been watching airfare for a few weeks and finally decided to book some refundable tickets for this trip. Is anyone familiar with the Seattle port/ can confirm if a flight schedule to leave around 12:30 PM is manageable? We are self-carry for disembarkation, so no waiting on bags. (We have easily made an 11:30am flight out of FLL when sailing out of Miami) We just don't know if the customs process is fast (Passport machines in Miami) or slower like Fort Lauderdale (in-person passport review). Or if there is typically horrible traffic on Friday Mornings from the port to SEA-TAC. Google Maps estimates ~17 miles / ~30 minutes. Quote
TwoCanSailAway Posted March 13 Author Report Posted March 13 Hello Hello! We just wanted to tip everyone on what looks like a deal in the Cruise planner portal. If you are a Diamond or Above member in the loyalty program, there is a 45% off sale on the deluxe beverage package. For two people, including gratuity, the price is $941.36. ($67.24 per person, per day). This is the best deal Royal has offered us in a long time, and just wanted to share the update if anyone wanted to take advantage. See y'all in 113 days!
