Hey, fellow adventure seekers!

We’ve just booked this amazing 7-night Alaskan journey, and the excitement is REAL!

This is the first time heading to the 49th state for some group members, with the other half having visited 20+ years ago.

Let’s get the conversation going—who’s excited to make new friends, sip on hot cocoa, and embark on an unforgettable adventure together?

What excursions are you most excited about—dog sledding, glacier kayaking, scenic train ride or salmon bake?

We are open to any tour suggestions!! Tell us about your must-see spots!

Any Alaska cruise tips or packing tips to share? Is anyone planning any extra special 4th of July attire or door decorations?

See you all on board in 163 days!

Greeting All!   Only 136 Days to go!!

Fair warning, from our review most hotels have inflated prices in downtown Seattle due to the 4th of July.

So if you haven't started looking at hotels, you might want to sooner rather than later.

We have been watching airfare for a few weeks and finally decided to book some refundable tickets for this trip.

Is anyone familiar with the Seattle port/ can confirm if a flight schedule to leave around 12:30 PM is manageable?

We are self-carry for disembarkation, so no waiting on bags.  (We have easily made an 11:30am flight out of FLL when sailing out of Miami)

We just don't know if the customs process is fast (Passport machines in Miami) or slower like Fort Lauderdale (in-person passport review).

Or if there is typically horrible traffic on Friday Mornings from the port to SEA-TAC.

Google Maps estimates ~17 miles / ~30 minutes.

Hello Hello!

We just wanted to tip everyone on what looks like a deal in the Cruise planner portal.

If you are a Diamond or Above member in the loyalty program, there is a 45% off sale on the deluxe beverage package.

For two people, including gratuity, the price is $941.36. ($67.24 per person, per day).

This is the best deal Royal has offered us in a long time, and just wanted to share the update if anyone wanted to take advantage.

See y'all in 113 days!

If you do checked luggage, it appears that cruises out of Seattle have a free baggage service, so you can have your luggage sent from the ship to the plane (and get your boarding pass on the ship.)  This would speed things up: Port Valet - Enjoy Seattle Luggage Free! | Port of Seattle

But if you carry on all your bags onto the plane, then it isn't gonna work.

Only 77 days to go before we set sail for the Last Frontier!

Just wanted to share some updates for anyone watching this roll call.

The Deluxe Beverage Package is again running a 45% off sale for loyalty members - Diamond & Above.

Standard price $735.00 for 1 person. Sale price $398.93 with $71.75 gratuity = $470.68pp. $68 a day.

For anyone looking for non-alcoholic alternatives, the Referement package is 30%.

Standard price is $294.00. Sale Price is $202.93 with a $32.69 gratuity. $39 a day.

*This package has been offered at 35% for this sailing. You can always cancel and rebook if a better sale price is offered before July 1st.

Other sales, the Unlimited dining package is 45% off for everyone.

Standard price $210.99 pp with a $37.97 gratuity.  $248.96pp   (This would be the approximate cost of eating dinner at Chops Grill ~4 times)

The North Star Extended Experience for Sea Days (2 & 5) is currently 20% off, or $34.99pp. This 20-minute activity is available for a limited time.

* I would like to note that this activity is offered complementary (free) during the sailing for a 15-minute trip.  So your $35 or $104 might offer a better vacation ROI if spent elsewhere.

Looking forward to sailing with you in July.
