over bored
Hi all, I'm going on my first cruise in about a week on Allure and had a question regarding the voom internet packages. I've tried searching this message board but couldn't find an answer. I'm going with some friends on this cruise and we are looking to purchase a 1 device voom package for each room. But we noticed if we bought 2 device or more it would save a little bit of money. The question is if one person bought a 2 device package, are we able to share one device each even if we are not in the same room/reservation? Thanks in advance! Stu Etheridge
I can’t really see how they could stop this. You get a password that is good for two devices to be connected at any one time. You can log those devices in and out and use others. So for example I would have my phone connected for the most part but would switch to my laptop to work. With so much flexibility I can’t see how they would detect whether the devices were from the same booking or not.
princevaliantus
I've done this with no issue.

twangster
You'll be given a card with a 7 digit code for each device. In May on Allure this was taped to our SeaPass card that we received in the terminal at check in. There is no way for them to know which device ends up in which cabin. PS - I take a picture of this card with my phone in case I become disconnected mid-cruise and I don't have the card with me. Saves a trip back to the cabin.
