Miami Cruise Parking

Hi all! My husband and I will be cruising out of Miami in March. Parking is $20 a day but I was curious if any veterans knew of other areas close by that are cheaper or free (we’d be willing to Uber to the port to save money).

I can't speak from personal experience, but I've heard some of the off site parking in Miami have a bad reputation.

I was researching a cruise in December and was looking at parking, too. Everything I read suggested parking at the port for piece of mind because of a high incidence of car break ins. There's good security at the port and it's convenient. 

Another option is a park and cruise hotel option. Trinity Reservations offers some decent packages with parking, hotel, and transportation. A night at the Double Tree in Miami with parking and shuttle service ran $192 during the holiday season.

The wife and I being happily retired take cruises about 3 times per year. We go out of Miami at least once or twice per year. Had some horrendous experiences with off site parking companies in Miami in the past until we found JetPort Park & Ride Center of Miami. We've used them 6 times already and had great experiences with them. Would recommend them highly. Their website is www.miamiportparking.com and someone always answers their phone, 888-510-1317. No run arounds with these folks. By the way, I got a mailer from them saying they'll be opening a location to service Fort Lauderdale seaport and airport in January 2018.
