DB Cooper Posted April 12 Report Share Posted April 12 Hello, just joined the board and have been enjoying reading everyone's content so far. My name is Mike, and my family and I love cruising Royal Caribbean. My wife and I took our first cruise on our honeymoon, sailing the Majesty of the Seas in May 1996. After we had kids we went through a Carnival phase but thankfully we grew out of it. I have an adult daughter who just got married last fall, and an adult son who still lives with us. Ryan, our son, is non-verbal and has autism. We now do all of our cruising through an organization called Autism on the Seas, which partners with Royal Caribbean to provide special assistance for families traveling with an individual with special needs. They work with other cruise lines to some degree, but Royal Caribbean is the only one that really goes out of its way to partner with AoTS and make the experience really special. RCI will always have my loyalty because of that. Traveling with other special needs families is really special for us because it lets us connect with other families facing the same joys and challenges that we are. Our next cruise will be on Symphony in October. We're all really looking forward to it. Looking forward to posting more and getting to know some of you.
