Icon of the Seas My Time Dining/Traditional Dining (3 traditional seatings or not?)

Has anyone sailed on Icon and is willing to share some details about their dining schedule experience? I would love to hear from both traditional dining people as well as my time dining people if you are out there.

I have heard that they now have 3 traditional dining seatings on Icon but when I call Royal to switch to the middle seating from our way too early 5pm seating (was originally 5:30pm when we booked), they say that there is still only 2 main seatings, a 5pm or 8pm, or the option to switch to my time dining. That doesn't sound any different from the dining options before the supposed change...

Just trying to figure out the best dining plan for our group's cruise and their lack of communication on this is making it challenging.

Some questions rolling around in my head:

Are there really 3 traditional seatings and if so how do you switch to the middle one and what time is it at?

What time are the early/late seatings?

What time does my time dining start seating?

Were there long waits for my time dining folks without reservations?

Were there decent options for my time dining reservation times once on board or were they all just super late?

There will be 3 traditional dining times eventually and it is not just Icon specified. The option has not rolled out yet.

To add MTD starts around 6:45, you can wait in line without a reservation; but you cannot alternate between traditional to MTD. So, to reiterate there is still only two dining times across the fleet, this includes Icon, and that will be 5/5:30 and 8/8:30.
