That is, do they make passengers who aren't on organised tours wait until all tours have disembarked or can you leave the ship at any time after the gang plank has been lowered? You can disembark when the security line is opened. Hint.....get to the disembarkation deck early and don't use the elevator (it will be crowded with long lines) use the stairs. I have not experienced priority going to RCL organized excursions. Word of caution, if you venture out on your own, be darn sure you will have RELIABLE transportation to get you back to the ship well before final boarding. Be sure to take your passport with you also in the unlikely event you get back to the port and the ship has left. It will be up to you to get to the next port to get back onboard.
