We're doing the May 3/10 back to back.  2d time for this cruise.

Fun fact:  Last time I booked this cruise, I couldn't figure out when it was getting back to Vancouver.  Then I saw it was one way!  So I did the only rational thing, and booked the return the next week.  Now, it's the only way to cruise Alaska!

Tacking on Hawaii before this one.  Then a few days in Vancouver and doing this B2B

I considered boarding in Tampa and ending with these sailings, would've been a total of 45 days:  Tampa, through the canal, up the west coast, and 3 weeks in Alaska.  Didn't want to abandon the mutts for that long, though.

Anybody else here going ?

Found a great last minute deal on a inside cabin for $370 !   Would prefer a balcony but can't beat that price.

My flight lands in Vancouver at midnight.  Too late for a hotel - not looking forward to sitting at the airport until morning.

We got $231 one way and $260 the other.  Too cheap not to go!

Won't have the 10th until tomorrow, but it's still not looking good.  Who else is going to spend the day on a boat in the glaciers before sailing home?  Show of hands.

So, I was wondering about bringing darts with me.  The Radiance has a pub that has 2 dart boards.  Sporting goods are allowed, and darts are not weapons.  So, theoretically, they should be allowed.  I asked RCI and they said that it's technically correct.  But, it's hard to say what the clowns screening you on the way in would say.  Anyone have any experience?

The previous cruise they were allowed to board, then told they could not fix the ship.  I am not putting a lot of stock in their “happy” email.  I’m think the morning email of potential gloom and the posting on the Facebook sailing for May 3 and 10 providing the email addresses of 3 staff members to complain to led to the “happy” good news letter within hours of the “gloomy” letter.  I’ll be a naysayer until we are onboard and actually sailing away from Vancouver.
