Dani Marie
Hi! I have Victoria British Columbia as a port stop on my next cruise and I was wondering if there is any rules about bringing candy or food back on the ship to take back home? Thanks! foxrunner
foxrunner
Can't answer that question. We went to the gardens and tea at the Empress, both highly recommended. Beacon Hill park is also a great free take. Ask for more info if interested?

It was a normal security check when we went back aboard in Victoria a few weeks ago on Ovation. It should be no issue with candy or food. sammyg
Candy will be fine. No fruit, veggies, meat, dairy (e.g. cheese).
Zacharius
"Food" is pretty broad. As sammyg mentioned, avoid fresh/perishable items since those are often against customs laws. Packaged/non-perishable food is usually fine.
