For those who've been to Cozumel before: what do you think of the city tour excursion? Is it worthwhile to just go wander into town on your own (no excursion)? We're wanting to just do some shopping and casual sight seeing this time; our previous excursions in Cozumel have all been water-centric. None of the excursions I have done in Cozumel have been memorable ( not bad just none that I need to do again) so I prefer to explore on my own and take in the sights. Walking, taxi, both? Every time we've gone to Cozumel we've been on an excursion. But just casually exploring/shopping might be our route this time. Any recommendations?
