Scooter or car rental at Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao

Hi, we are going with theExplorer  to the ABC islands. There we want to snorkle and visit different beaches. Therefore we like to rent a scooter or car.

Best is renting this at the cruise ports.

Does anyone has an advice for us?

Hope to hear from you.

Greetings,

For Bonaire I suggest using Bonaire Cruisers and renting a golf cart. Pre-arrange in advance and it's a quick walk from the port to pick up the golf cart. You cab drive all over and stop where you like. Bonaire is probably the best for snorkeling out of the 3 Islands.  Though you may want to also consider Woodwind Bonaire and having them take you on a boat to snorkel.

We actually rented a UTV in Aruba through Road Runner. We went that route because we wanted to do some off-roading in Arikok National Park. Not sure they still allow you in there if you aren't with a tour or in an actual car any longer, so if you're looking to see the park and the caves, I wouldn't do the ATV route..but absolutely would recommend it for just exploring and visiting beaches. I recommend trying to make it out to Mangel Halto and Baby Beach. They are rustic and in the less touristy part of Aruba. If you go out that way and enjoy seafood, make it a point way stop at Zeerovers for lunch!

Road Runner delivered the vehicle just outside the port to the gas station that is right there. They met us there and suggested with a map and suggestions on sites to visit. Then at the end you dropped it off at that same gas station.
