Will be aboard on a btb from Quebec City.  The Jewel is one of my favorite ships.  Many good times aboard.

I’m new to east coast cruising. Any recommendations for a hotel the night before? Must see places or must have food?

Wife & I booked this cruise. We love Bermuda, Aruba, Curacao & San Juan. We always stay at The New Yorker in Manhattan (we come by Amtrak and hotel is within walking distance of the station) when going out of Bayonne. Train costs $37.50 each from Cleveland to NYC, but the Uber/Cab from Manhattan to Bayonne is $50 (go figure). We plan on staying an extra 2 days in San Juan. We have stayed at the El Convento (Old San Juan) in the past. We might try a beach hotel on this stay. If anyone has any referrals, we would love to hear them.
