We are a group of 11 (5 adults and 6 kiddos) staying at a nearby vacation rental in the Galveston area. I’m looking at the most affordable transportation options in the cruise port area. We plan on splitting up and taking Ubers/Lyfts. Any tips about nearby locations that are better for drop offs and pickups other than the actual cruise port building? I imagine the traffic will be a challenge. Fortunately, no one in our group has any mobility issues, so walking short distances is an option. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Traffic wasn't an issue for me, but I got there early (10amish) on embarkation day.
