Help me choose an excursion: Blue Lagoon, Pearl Island or Margaritaville?

Hi guys, I'm new at cruising and never went to Nassau before.

Was wanting to book an excursion for my upcoming cruise in February and explore a little of what Nassau has to offer.

Looking for a relaxing day on a beach and some water activities for my two teenage boys (12 and 16 y.o.) but we are open to any other suggestions.

RC is offering a beach day on Blue Lagoon or Pearl Island for about the same price. Both include transportation and lunch.

Another option is purchasing a day pass for Margaritaville Resort which is a 15 min walk from the port but doesn't include any food.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I did a Blue Lagoon Excursion back in May. The beach is pretty inside the lagoon area.  You can do a hike to explore other sections of the island, but the activities seemed limited for kids. Blow up raft things on the water.  The food on the island was just ok.  Drinks were extra.  I personally wouldn't do that excursion again especially if it's over $60.

I imagine Pearl Island will be similar.

This is what I was worried about. I also read that there is not much time to enjoy the island with the 40 min boat ride there and back. Right now, I have Blue Lagoon booked but I might cancel. Peal island does offer free paddle boarding or kayaking and there is an option for snorkelling. I might just scrap the whole idea and just visit Nassau and Junkanoo Beach for a couple of hours and enjoy the activities back on the ship.  Thanks for taking the time to answer!
