The Key and luggage

Good afternoon! I am one of those folks who always carry all their own luggage onto the ship to the cabin and same on disembarkation. Extra fun as I travel solo and tend to have multiple suitcases and garment bag. I purchased the Key and am seriously contemplating letting go and dropping off my luggage at the MDR. For the life of me, I cannot recall at what time we are typically allowed in the cabins. If around 1:30pm, good chance I just hold on to them. Do you know when we can get in them? I will be on Anthem in a few weeks. Also, for those that dropped off carry on with The Key, around what time did you receive it in your cabin? Thank you!

1:30 is a good average rule of thumb time to expect. Sometimes it’s earlier, sometimes later….but it averages out to about 1:30 overall

@AdrianaI know The Key allows you to drop off your carry on items but I wonder about luggage? Especially "multiple suitcases and garment bag". 

 

When we dropped off our carry ons, they were in our cabin when we finished lunch, probably between 1-1:30.

@Okgladgal, thank you!  I am taking two carryon  sized rolling bags and garment bag. If too much, I will just hold on to it. I pretty much expect to be a pack mule during the start and end of each cruise. That is amazing that you had it so quickly

I bet those bags will be fine. I think they move the bags from the MDR pretty quickly to get them out of the way. Enjoy your cruise!
