11earl
Hi, New here - taking the family on the Freedom of Seas in April. We would like to do one of the more interactive dolphin experiences. Does anyone have a preference of doing so on St. Maarten vs St. Kitts? If so, would you mind explaining why? TiA!
WAAAYTOOO
I did the dolphin swim (as opposed to the dolphin encounter) in St Maarten and it was great. I have no idea how the one in St Kitts is.
WAAAYTOOO
I take it back !!!! Sorry...the dolphin swim I did was in Curacao, not St. Maarten. Brain fart.
JLMoran
TripAdvisor has very positive reviews of the dolphin swim / experience on St. Kitts. Haven't looked at the one for St. Maarten, but the reviews I read very frequently commented on how the men who work with the dolphins very clearly care for them and about them a lot. This is the one we're planning to do on our cruise in 2018, mainly because there are other excursions we want to do in St. Maarten and I've been advised here not to try and do more than one excursion a day. Very important to us that the dolphins are well-cared for; I've read that some places don't care for them that well and it shows when you go to them.
