Matt Merchant
How early should I get in line for tender tickets for a third party excursion that starts as soon as we can get off the ship?
HeWhoWaits
On our most recent cruise that included use of tenders, those who wished to get off the ship in the first half hour didn't require tickets. They could just show up and get on the first ones. If this scenario doesn't apply, you'll want to be at the designated ticket pick up location a good 30 minutes before the designated time and make sure you sit near the front to wait. twangster
It depends how they are doing tenders on your ship that day. Sometimes they will ask or expect folks who are lining up to get tender tickets be ready to go at a moment's notice. They might ask that if you and your entire party are not ready to go, don't like up for a ticket. This can vary by ship and by port. Another ship might do it differently. Listen to directions carefully and follow their instructions. Matt Merchant
