FloatMe
So with the new deployments be released soon, I was hoping to verify a few things regarding booking while on board at the next cruise desk. Specifically, we plan on booking two cruises as soon as the new itineraries are released through our travel agent before we cruise on April 9th. Will I then be able to rebook the same cabins at the next cruise desk to take advantage of the on board booking incentive. Obviously I will do the math at the time, to make certain it is still to my advantage, I just wanted to make sure they were able to rebook a cruise that I had booked through my TA? Thanks in Advance. firegal2539
Floatme, That is a good question and I can't answer it. I just got off a cruise two days ago and was going to book a cruise and I asked the rep if I book when I get back on land can I change this to a Casino Royale cruise with the casino discount and she told me yes. I was positive I had read posts on the blog that said you couldn't do that, so I didn't book. I called CR the day I got back and the rep told me, no I can't move a booking made on the ship to the CR rate. I would have to cancel and book through them. I am totally confused because every rep tells you something different. Before you get on the ship I would call Royal and see what they say. Matt
I tried to do this on my cruise last week and essentially, the NextCruise office cannot access the reservation. That might have to do with the fact I booked with a TA, but what they could do is book another room and then when you get home, cancel the old booking.
